From a remixerā€™s stand point I really didnā€™t like it. Ideas werenā€™t executed well and they only got like maybe less than half of the tracks they where planning to finish done. It was rushed and they rushed their remixers, which was sad. The community behind OCR didnā€™t like it either, but hey youā€™ve just got to do your best

Now for a REAL GOOD remix project check out Joe Camā€™s Bound Together: A Earthbound ReMix Project ( with the ReBound update )

A brilliant project, done in only three months meant to bring the community together. People always put it as their favorite remix project or their second favorite. REALLY worth a look

The tracks I listed as my favorites from the remixes are the only ones I actually like. Some of them sound wierd as hell, like Ryuā€™s and Guileā€™s.

Didnā€™t like it. Personally, I prefer by far other remixes, like the SF2 Tribute Album, Sing!! Street Fighter 2 and the disc made by Alpha Lyla with Yuji Toriyama.

I donā€™t know which one of those it is but one of them has an M.Bison remix that I love. It involved someone(supposedly Bison) humming and laughing.

I spent the past few hours DLing and listening to game tunes. So Iā€™m gonna toss out a some bones for you all.

*Simpsons Arcade Gamerip http://www.shadowhaxor.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=850 I am not a Simpsons fan. I was when I was a kid and I played the Simpsons arcade game years ago only once. But I remember loving it. Couldnā€™t remember the music, though. So I decided to DL this and give it a listen. Turns out this is some good stuff. Nice, upbeat, whacky tunes.

*Assault Suits Valken (Cybernator) OST http://www.shadowhaxor.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=637 Played the heck outta Cybernator as a kid. Game is still a sweet mech action/platformer. Music rocks hard. If youā€™re wondering whether or not this is worth a DL, let me say that the game was made by Konami.

*Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Audio http://www.shadowhaxor.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=672 May as well drop this one since the Simpsons Arcade game is based off of this gameā€™s engine.

FighterX, youā€™ve got all the music to the Mega Man games. How was the music in X7? The game sucked so bad, Iā€™ve blocked nearly all of it out of my mind. I mean, as much as X6 sucked, even that game still managed to have some tunes that stick out in my head.

Langrisser 2 is a strategy-RPG game for Mega Drive. I like it even more than Shining Force II.

Forget that Mario Is Missing was a crappy education game. The game had some really good music, most of which were remixed themes from Super Mario World. This theme is an original track and its very soothing. Iā€™m waiting for someone to make an arranged version of this track. It would own on sooooo many levels.
