Nice…
New Dragon’s Dogma… wait… this isn’t eh Dragon’s Dogma we’re looking for.
Not showing any in store pickup around me right now. Nothing within 250 miles.
Dragons Dogma anime is fucking lame. DDII you cowards!!!
I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the start of the hype up for DDII now that Itsuno is done with DMCV.
Well, if the anime is successful can make the brand more popular.
But what caught my eye from that IGN article was that Velma from Scooby Doo is gay. The latest incarnation.
No More Heroes III might be a gud action game.
It’s Bayo 3 status though, Nintendont Switch 2 might release before those games do. The Duke Nukem Forever titles of this gen.
You can do “stylish” stuff in all of those gaemz.
That’s why I didn’t harp on it and instead named another Western action rpg that let’s you combo build.
Shipping may be the only move at this point.
Wrong thread for that, but I’m all for it.
Suda showed it at the end of the Devolver Digital show the other day. There was gameplay footage before that for the New Game+ show as well. It’s coming.
I’m expecting it to be GDLK. Motorcycle that turns into robo-armor? Oh yeah
I would like Bayo3 info though…
Do you have all the Legions unlocked? The whole system was genius. There were things I forgot about since I took a break, but once I dug in, it was non-stop Holy Shit-moments with the Legio and even the chains. Having a practice mode was great. Just traversing the landscape was a blast.
It was like Nier:A in the sense that the story wasn’t original, but the way it was pulled off really drew me in, in tandem with the gameplay it’s definitely a personal G.O.A.T and is THE cyberpunk game for me.
Not yet. I’ve only on the 2nd one and it’s ridiculous. I love how P* doesn’t hold your hand. The design whispers “GIT GUD” as it shows you all of the mechanics you need to actually beat the enemies. The first time I encountered the enemies that “power up” the Chimera made the moment for me. The game tells you about what the sword legion could do in other contexts but never in that one specifically. I spent about 20 seconds trying to figure out how to kill it before I realized you have to slash it to sever the connection. The way P* explained it to you was by putting a single low level enemy with this new attribute in your area so you can “avoid” it while trying to figure it out.
Nier A wasn’t the gameplay I expected. I thought it was going to be a lot closer to Bayonetta/DMC. The story was A+ for me. When you beat the game after the second time and then it launches into basically a “trailer” for the next part, I was both shocked and hooked.
Reading that quote of mine, it sounds like I’m saying Nier:A was THE cyberpunk game, but it’s Astral Chain ^^
I really enjoyed Nier:A’s gameplay though.
The dash/boost
The hacking
Havivng the HUD be a part of the upgrade system for your charcter
the launcher being initiated from the last minute dodge animation
Pods
All those with the center ‘open-world’ where you could go and pick fights at your leisure, was a great touch. I never thought about self-destruction cancels until I watched some combo vids, since I was on a black out while playing.
My second playthrough, I’m going to do all the sidequests and weapon upgrades. I liked how the weapons had stories to them and the upgrades unlocked them. That was nice hook.
I think there’s 3 pods you can get? I only got two and that was waaaay late into the game. The multiple shooter genres were a riot. I’d fire this up after this post , if my PS4 wasn’t in the closet.
Game is so good
LOL. I read it the way you intended.
Nier: A is a game that I would play through again to experience the story moreso than the gameplay. I did appreciate how each playthrough it offered something a bit different. I think I only got two pods as well. It may sound like I am demeaning how I felt about the game but I easily put in about about 50+ hours on it. This title and HZD are two games in recent memory that I want to grind through the campaign again.
Yeah. I think this was one of the games from China Hero Project? Game looks cool.
Yea says right st the beginning of the traiker, China Hero Project.
And yea it does look kind of cool.
Capcom is having a publisher sale on XBL right now. Picked up the DnD Beat em up bundle, capcom arcade cab all-in-one bundle, strider 2014, final fight double impact and Disney Saturday morning collection all for under $20.
I might grab Asura’s Wrath too as it’s only $3 and just pick up the dlc later. I considered getting the lost planet titles too but I remember how much I hated the first one so I decided against it
I originally posted this in the Switch thread but I think everyone should see it
I actually have the remaster for the Switch but like most the games I own for the system I haven’t played it. I actually haven’t been playing much lately. Been kind of in a funk as well as wanted to read some comics I had stopped for reasons I don’t remember.
I might try to power through Pokémon shield before I go back to work on Friday. But we’ll see. I kinda want to jump back into Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 but it’s been so long since I played it I’d want to start with a fresh file.
