Please no spoilers about Ghost of Tsushima in here and what they talk about in reviews, even if it’s not exactly a “spoiler”. Like I already heard something about the gameplay that I wish I hadn’t heard yet. I’m not reading any reviews or anything prior to playing it Friday.
(And not saying you spoiled it or anything - just mean in general)
It’s becoming hard to finish because that game sucks ass and don’t let Platinum* fanbois tell you differently.
Yoko Taro blew me away with the original Nier, so I day juand Automata and I picked up Drakengard 3 while it was on sale. Both titles are literally weeb trash, like I dont understand how Nier 1 was so good but everything else he’s made has been pure dogshit.
I’d say out of the quirky Japanese devs like Yoko, Swery and the dude behind No More Heroes/Shadows of the Damned titles that Yokos titles are by far the worst while being a little too up their own ass(also funny you say Nier runs like crap later on, Drakengard 3 runs at like 10 FPS on PS3 and iirc the prequels ran badly too.)
Nier Automata bored the absolute fuck outta me too. I tried and just couldn’t be bothered. I think I had like 3-5 hours? Wasn’t sorry to drop it.
That’s weird. I never had any issue with the PS4 game. I heard about issues with the PC version which is why I went PS4 on that game in the first place.
SoR4 was looking to be my last purchase for the year.
I might get Ghostface of Thushima down the line though…when it’s 20 bucks in a few months because it’s a 1st-party Sony title.

I wouldn’t count Bayo 2 as it’s a rerelease of a previous generation. I get why you’d say it though seeing as the Wii U basically didn’t exist
I consider the Wii-U part of this gen as it was made during the PS4/Bone era. It just hapoened to fail and was replaced by The Switch. Bayo 1 was 08 and the Wii-U wasn’t even a thing then, the Wii was. So it’s not last gen so it has to go into this gen imo.
Would Spider-Man fit into that genre?
DMCV by default for me. I have yet to finish Astral Chain (good so far), and haven’t gotten to Bayonetta 2 yet
No, tho that system does indeed give a decent amount of options to mix and match.

It’s like Mixer, everyone knows it’s gonna tank. They are just taking the buckets of cash from Google in the meantime. When Google finally cans it, the companies will still have their money and be free to do what they want.
