I know they lost it. Not a good enough excuse. Put time into making sure all the content is there before you waste your time on pointless shit like removing butt shots. I’m butt hurt they shrug their shoulders on actual content but dedicate time to a non issue.

It’s asstactic.

They are asking for a six figure entry fee if interested devs want to be part of this year’s E3…

Forgot about this live service…

I can’t wait until they have to backtrack or cancel. Who the fuck would pay them that much where there isn’t even a show with a crowd. Companies can release trailers on their own.

And oh yeah; there’s no way Anthem makes it past whatever decision EA has to make.

I will jump to current gen for this game…

And yet people are mad about Cyberpunk

Decided to hop on LAG FIGHTER V for the first time in 2021, and since I got my RTX 3070:

:point_up:me during that Abgail match as a 3-decade long Sagat main and seeing this big mass doing jump-ins

LOL @ the load time in those SF5 matches holy shit. I can get my PS5 powered on and be back playing Demon’s Souls in like 1/2 the time it took that one match to load.

JESUS!

This game just looks FUCKING AMAZING. I might have to cave and buy it on the PS4 until I can afford to build a gaming PC (yeah, yeah - delayed priorities and poor decision making).

People complain about the UI, but I actually appreciate how each message has it’s own font and sizing. It reduces visual confusion for old farts like myself, and I can see it being helpful should the series pick up any new players.

Stage transitions are a bit more refined now, so it looks less like a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade float being dragged behind a Nascar when knocked away. I also dig that aerial combo stage transition in that Ky / Giovanna match, that is STUNNING.

Those damned stages are sick! Loving the plein air painter in the background. That’s nothing new really, Team Red and company have just been flexing with good to amazing backgrounds in their games. A far cry from the PS2 Pimp My Ride the Game looking NPC’s in backgrounds of other fighting games. . .

Daisuke Ishiwatari is basically the Hideo Kojima of fighting games. The dude has an insane vision and busts his ass to see it through to a stunning finished product with superb audio and visual presentation in an era when mediocre polygon models are the standard for the genre.

That said, I do hope you can disable vocals on the soundtrack - or at least vocal tracks are limited; because I don’t want the songs to grow old like a commercial radio grindstone.

I just wish that damned game came with an OST CD. I’m a dinosaur that wants to be buried with my physical media like a pharaoh of old. :upside_down_face:

Giovanna’s kicky antics, pants, and proportions are reminding me of Cynthia Rothrock.

…yikes!

Sell your PS4 and Xbone and buy this

Actually don’t. This thing is a POS even back then.

Isn’t that the same dude they said was acting like a frat boy and part of the culture issues they had a few years back or is this a different one?

Mannnn…wtf Google.

I can see Stadia is well on it’s way out, if they are screwing people over

Ouya and Stadia fanboys will rise up! Console normies will rue the day!

I fell for the 3DO meme back in the day. . . not all that mad. Was cheaper than a Neo Geo and had Samurai Shodown and Street Fighter 2 on it. Ignore the part where it didn’t have any further Samurai Shodown games, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, King of the Monsters, etc. A console platform standard was a concept too pure for this world. :stuck_out_tongue:

The 3DO was ahead in so many areas, and missed the mark in others.
The controller idea of chaining controllers where both brilliant and laughable at the same time

Had the 3DO had some actual power under the hood, they could of competed.

This was learned in the 80’s by atari long before the 3do. Splitting hairs on calling the atari computers “consoles” though.
