We arent talking about giant wallscrolls of text tho. We are talking about conversations between two or more people and the way ypu navigate the convo having consiquences for the outcome of said convos. That’s a gameplay mechanic.

MOTM is a pretty damn good portable fighter. It has pretty faithful renditions of each character, and it’s damn fun to play. If you don’t mind the Game Boy-esque graphics, you’ll have a very good time with it.

Well, it IS a port, but it’s also a very good fighter, especially for a handheld. Supporting It probably goes along way into gettin more SNK/Capcom crossover games ported down the line

If I can get in on it, I’ll definitely take it for a spin. See what sort of shenanigans my dude Axl has, and mercifully his pants and dignity have been restored for this iteration.
Hopefully sexy secret service agent is playable in the beta as well. Hopefully she’ll be like Jam, but easier to use for my smooth Silly Putty-like brain.
They should make Bridget the 15th character to maximize day one trap waifu trash sales; but that would also put them in the precarious position of undermining future DLC sales.
Being a fighting game fan in current year is suffering!
I may be less butthurt if it did adhere to the old model of Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fight, Super Street Fighter 2, etc. when you had to buy the game over again every year for four new characters. What grinds my gears is the monetization of every. damned. thing. Characters. Colors. Stages. Soundtrack.
I feel as if the business model is in desperate need of a more equitable model for players. It’s already a niche genre, growing increasingly smaller and not aided by the current business model. Of course the cultists in Jonestown like the taste of Flavor-Aid, we need to get the people who aren’t in the cult into the taste too.

Yeah, it is hard to justify investment in a modern fighter when the rebalancing continually screws up what you are used to and you are constantly being nickle and dimed for everything on top of it.
The free to play model is probably closest to being fair for the consumer as they invest directly in the elements of the game they desire. They should just have a reasonably priced all inclusive package on top of it.

I legitimately do not trust Capcom, even if they are presently in a much better position than SNK, and that bargaining posture would be beneficial to both companies to release the title for players on modern platforms.
