Hell, that’s a reasonable price for all that

My boy John Wick called in the marker and secured two PS5’s from GameStop, selling me that bundle once it arrives next month. I can do without 2k1, though.

Did no one else watch this earlier? This place looks fucking awesome. Glad to hear that they are going to be making Super Nintendo World in the USA too. No clue how long it will take to come about though.

That’s still false advertising, and calling it out is fine. You’ll have corporate bootlickers posting in pro-business bureaucratic language, but again people aren’t going to stop calling it out as long as it happens.

CDProjects caught another case selling out to CCP and blaming “gamers” for it didn’t do them any favors, lol. I need to cancel my GOG account, but don’t feel like calling them up.

Gaming news: Alien Soldier and M.U.S.H.A are my jams for the month along with Sonic 3 and Sonic Mania. I want to get back to Yakuza 0, but I’ll probably do that sometime next week.

From what I read they didn’t sell out to the CCP, they got tons and tons of complaints from Chinese gamers, if that is the case then the gamers are indeed to blame.

And sure call CDPR out for Cyberpunk but I better see the same fucking energy the next time Bethesda or EA, or whoever releases a game that is bug ridden. Anthem bricked consoles and there wasn’t even half the back lash. You brick my hardware I’m gonna be next level pissed the fuck off. Fallout 76 still barely runs and it’s still in the digital store.

Gamers have proven to be fickle and hypocritical as fuck when it comes to applying their standards evenly. Getting pretty fucking annoying to watch.

Cyberpunk Game Maker Faces Hostile Staff After Failed Launch - Bloomberg

Another developer asked whether CD Projekt’s directors felt it was hypocritical to make a game about corporate exploitation while expecting that their employees work overtime. The response was vague and noncommital.

Goddamn

Doubt. I guess it’s being ‘upvoted’ or whatever the equivalent is, at the GOG website, since people want to play it. GOG doesn’t really have a presence in China, but Cyberpunk is selling well enough there. Painting oneself as the company has, and then doing the opposite is going to have that kind of backlash.

They shouldn’t have said they would publish it, and then not follow through :man_shrugging:

Great, but no one cares about your doubts. Do you have proof of a sell out or are you talking out your ass again?

There is a difference between “that kind of backlash” and legitimate critism. One is based on actual information and the other is just making up bullshit to make up bullshit because you’re salty about some shit. If all the available information points to gamer backlash then it’s gamer back lash. You can’t call it selling out the CCP when you have nothing to support it other then it feels good to say.

The game’s content was known about and review bombed by assholes on Steam that the publisher decided to take it off last year. C©DProject decided to publish knowing it, then pull it a week before launch. That’s where it comes from, without me planting bugs in their office and hacking their emails, lol.

Maybe if it’s upvoted enough, they’ll put it back up “For The Gamers” and they can put it behind them and focus on Cyberpunk 2077. Without knowing the contract, maybe the devs can put it on itchio.io ? They know they’ll get harassed but it’ll still be cool if a publisher takes them up on it, and actually follows through instead of deflecting.

GOG twitter thread making the announcement is a gold mine

And you believed that? You know that the claims of this is on the Xbone/PS4 is BS right.
It always be off what ever looks better and not the actual system the game sold for in the AD.
MS is especially known for this BS.

Not hard as people are doing now.
You tubers are only jumping on the band wagon it as it gives them the views.
They go what ever gives them the most watches, even if its a witch hunt.

Fuck yeah

Good points.

Another point, how much people praised New vegas despite being bugger than CP ever was at launch?

Speaking of Idiots hating on CP 2077

How you going to ask for a refund but try to keep the game?

The first delay from April was announced back in January, which pushed the game until September, so Corona didn’t play a part in the development yet, as lockdowns only begun in Poland in March (with the news hitting the world about a month prior). IMO that was already the first red flag that perhaps not everything was going smooth with the project

Is there? Now, I’m only observing the discussions surrounding CP2077 on reddit, but people seem to have been just as adamant about the reports of crunch from Epic (Fortnite content), Rockstar (RDR2 100-hour weeks shit), and Last of Us 2

Not only. PS4/XB1 versions issues are mostly down to less than stellar perfomance (Pro and One X barely hitting 30fps even). That’s just the tip of the iceberg of other issues such as seemingly random polcie spawning right behind players’ backs no matter where you are - middle of nowhere, top of a building, inside a stripclub, etc

sounds like some exaggerated bullshit honestly.

What did people really expect though running this on old stuff?

Oh well. Running perfect on my rig.

The push for new stuff to run on old gen hardware is the dumbest shit. The way this game looks and runs on PC, I just don’t see it being able to do anything but run like ass on old gen.

A stable frame rate. Not expecting all the bells and whistles of high end pc performance.

If it’s gonna be a hot mess on old consoles why did sony and ms certify it for release?

It to not hard crash once every couple of hours. For textures to load in faster then I can drive my motor bike across the city. For the HUD to not glitch out. For quests to not break in the middle of doing them (or just at all).

I didn’t expect a high end performance product, but I did expect it to work at the most basic of levels.

There are lots of perfectly valid reasons to critisize, it’s the intensity of it that I take issue with. It’s where the hypocracy lies.

Anyway a stability patch released last night. Time to find out if it worked.

Even on PC this game is extremely demanding, maybe even more so than Red Dead 2. You need a 1060 just hit 1080p 30fps at high settings. Most PC players I know cannot run this game at 60fps on high settings.

I get a steady framerate that averages at 74fps. I keep it locked at 75 cause my monitor. I really think I was lucky and just used the right parts to put my computer together. But I dont turn on ray tracing.

Like Ive said before, the bugs and glitches I can handle. They’re in almost all games that are huge like this. Its how fast the developers address those bugs and glitches that matters. If they address them at all. Seems these devs are addressing them.

What bugs me the most about this is that everyone was suckin’ this devs dick before the game dropped cause of witcher games or some shit. Now those same people are hating on the dev instead of having faith that the dev will fix the game and try to make things right.

Yea, we’re talking about your average PC player. My bro has been on PC since forever, he has a 1060 6GB with an i5. He plays most competitive fps games at a very high frame-rate. But these casual open world games are every demanding.
