yeah, they added ‘very hard’ difficulty, and removed the whole Zone/level-locked enemies (where enemies are locked to a certain level depending on what level you are when you arrive to an area; people didn’t like that since it kinda punished exploration. Exploring as a low-level character would result in the enemies being stuck to their lowest possible level for the rest of the game) thing a lot of fans complained about on the original.
They also apparently added a FOV slider, but that’s not something I’ve ever cared about.
Also, the DLC is included, and there’s surprisingly some new DLC on the way for next year.

TBH I liked the dashboard because of how clean/simple it was, and after the last few updates it became a convoluted mess to navigate IMO.
Solid State Memory isn’t cheap. You’re essentially buying a giant memory card. Remember PS1 memory cards? They held 8 KILOBYTES of flash memory. PS2 had 8 MEGABYTES of flash memory. We’re talking 1000GB memory cards on crack here.
You will need one eventually too, unless you enjoy uninstalling and reinstalling games constantly. The SSD’s might be faster than ever but you will still be at the mercy of your disc drive and download speed(if the PS5 hits your max download speed anyway, I never could on my PS3/PS4 but my old rig from 2012 and this current one can. Dafuq.)

This has never bothered me. Why keep games on my hd I’m not playing or don’t plan on playing anytime soon. I think I can manage waiting x minutes for a game to install
I value my time. I don’t enjoy spending 30-40+++ minutes(I’m not exaggerating here either) to install 1 modern PS4 title.
If it was like the PS3 era where most games are up and running in like 5-10ish minutes max then yeah that’s fine, I can go do something real quick while it installs. PS4 install time is brutal in comparison to last-gen(lol) or PC.

RIP to the best new character and series Capcom has made in a long time. Still salty DR3 and Off the Record never received physical* PS4 ports. I have to settle for Off the Record on PS3 and DR3 on Steam.

That was the pinnacle of MS and their UI for Xbox console. From then on out it has turned into a complete bloated poorly performing cluster fuck. I hate every single thing about the Xbox One UI. I’m guessing the Series X/S will just be the same shit.

ha, back into the world of Diablo 3… it never ends for me… I leveled up the “gem of ease” to power-level the hell out of this seasonal necromancer…was already level 19 but in 2 minutes was level 45; later that night he hit 70. That item is the greatest power-leveling tool I’ve ever seen in a game, man. It’s funny how fast the level-ups go when you equip that…it’s very close to being a “instant level 70” button. 
With enough of those you could theoretically have a level 1 character suited up in all level 70 gear…on this one I “just” had a primal ancient level 70 wand for him, and level 70 ancient legendary boots. The xp gain was ridiculous.
Now I’m seeing the “legacy of dreams” gem is even more buff than I thought…I didn’t even have all legendary gear and yet because of that gem, this necro was already hitting for billions in damage.
This is how Diablo rolls, folks…the game seriously has some of the most OP player characters in gaming history. It’s delicious.

Well thats why at least the Series S and Series X is using Gen 4 PCIe for it’s NMVe M.2 Drives, that increased bandwidth. It’s also why that MS not allowing External Drives (plus they want your moneys for the 1TB SSD). Hopefully they eventually release a 2TB model or start to lower the price.
But with the industry slowly pushing for more cloud computing (which MS is very much for that direction) this could be the last console gen we get.
Maybe even more Ads than there UI. Oh wait, that already happened.

And judging by PS4’s post-launch, in a couple of years the prices will rise even higher. At launch PS4 was 230$ but soon afterwards it hopped to about 275$
