Rival Schools in SF was confirmed as far back as season 1. There’s Rival Schools characters in the background of the beach stage.

i mean to be fair this was the 1st time they officially said the series was connected. before this they dodged it pretty hard. sakura was removed from the sequel and everybody but kyosuke that had sprites from cvs2 got in alpha 3 ports.

Well, Tiffany, Hinata and I forgot who else appeared on that beach stage. To me that was confirmation enough though some in the story thread refused to believe it!

I don’t really count background cameos as confirmation, they had Morrigan in a background in Alpha 2 I think, and a few others I’m forgetting.

yea but before people could always handwave those away as cameos. it’s different from snk where at this point there is a confirmed multiverse and if you see a random snk character hanging out in the background of a random kof game you can actually assume their canonically there.

Well little purbeast #2 came a bit early and came last night weighing 8lbs and 2oz and 21" long.
He didn’t even let me finish Ghost of Tsushima before he came. But I will find time between his awake time to get it finished!
