I believe that those problems will be solved in time. Consoles going through a slump is not new. I guess we’ll just have to see how publishers respond once the Wii U picks up steam.

EA needs the big 3 more than the big 3 need EA, and EA needs us way more than it needs the big 3. I cannot understand how the weakest party here is dictating anything. Only explanation is that publishers struck a deal that involved a lot of money.

Well Wii U interest will skyrocket with the X1 fucking up. If the PS4 doesn’t completely capitalize, Nintendo’s all set.
It isn’t a rumor. The latest (I think) Nintendo Direct mentioned a new 3D Mario will be shown at E3.
That’s the hope but I wish they would work with 3rd parties…although the rumours of the new shenmue being on WiiU thanks to the new partnership with sega have me interested.

sigh…I’m just…so disappointed in Microsoft right now…If supposedly the big publishers are the one trying to push M$ to do this stuff then this could be a huge gamble. They could try to put all their games on Microsoft’s system to call the consumer’s bluff and see if they’re actually willing miss out on those games. If their gamble fails then that’s a lot of development placed into those games for barely anybody to buy them…they’ll probably a lot of cross gen to make up any money lost on the next gen copies. This is probably gonna end up being a war of attrition between the consumers and the publishers. I can only hope that the majority sees and understands this but it’s quite rare that gamers as a whole will stand up against stuff. DmC was one of the rare times where pissing off the consumer base was enough to affect sales. This will get interesting…
This e3 feels more hype-less than last year, and last year’s e3 was by far one of the worst years since I’ve been alive.
If I dont really get something substantial from Jojo’s ASB, Killer Is Dead, GTA5, MGS5 and whatever else they are keeping locked away that’ll blow the minds off I’ll really be bummed.
