I dont even know who the guy is and why should I? Fuck that guy…he’ll get another job.

I’m also lost about who this guy Bungie fired is.

he has been the composer since the first halo game i think

Marty wrote all the music for the Halo series. I think he did other well known things but im not familiar with him

Just because they guy is good at his job does not mean he works well with others, agree with his bosses or even the most reliable person there.
Maybe the dude was a douche and Bungie said we don’t care how good you are change your attitude or your gone.

Maybe the guy was cool but his boss was a jerk. Don’t worry it’s not like Bungie makes Halo games anymore.

Konami pretty much did the same thing to Michiru Yamane on Castlevania…

How’s that “epic” Lords of Shadow soundtrack working out for everyone?

There are quite a few good tacks on it :coffee:

Really more concerned about Destiny’s soundtrack…

I played the OG game on PS2, I have actually, never finished it though. But idk how much the ps3 one changes. But you are literally helpless as hell. And only thing you can do is take over the enemies vision to see how far they are from you. The mission structure in the one I have is pretty much get from point A to point B. but boyyyy is that shit spooky. I actually still need to get Siren on ps3. Also, you can import the Chinese version, its the same as ours but physical

@femto I kinda agree with you on the 3ds. m gonna get one though for smash, Nintendo first party, and the eshop looks sweet on there. but I mean I get a free vita game evermonth, and i got a handful of vita games that give unlimited playtime. while i don’t think the 3ds has that, despite having a bigger library, plus still plenty of normal DS titles i can just cop and play

Just give it to Destiny’s Child. It’ll be successful for sure.

I wouldn’t expect you to know since you already said you don’t keep up with many if any people in the industry.

Just know that Marty is big part of what made the Halo games before 4 memorable.

One of a few Western VG composers that I can name that I have respect for their work. He can do orchestration without it just ‘being there’ in the background to take up space and make it pretty memorable while maintaining atmosphere.

Mjnolnir mix is still one of the most fitting and GDLK game tracks I ever heard, it really embodies the word “epic” and was a big part of what made Halo 1 have such an impact on gamers.

I guess that one song during the trailer or something for one of those halo games was cool. But that shit is old now and so is that dude.

3DS is the truth. I’m not exactly Mr. Nintendo, either.

Yeah I bet Marty is crackin’ on some godlike 3ds orchestra work right now, going to lead the way!

I can’t remember if you just got yours or if you’ve been had it. If you just got it, have you played Kid Icarus Uprising yet?

Sony selling it’s shares in Square Enix

quite interesting…wonder how this will change things in the future.

Square Enix: DRM Essential to Profits for 'Forseeable Future’

Nintendo could have teamed up with Activision to make Skylanders exclusive for it’s platforms

Wow…You fucked up Nintendo. Read under the section ‘Nintendo’s Doubts’

Holy shit Nintendo, you had a chance to make literally millions off plastic mario and zelda toys, while simultaneously expanding your brand recognition to the new generations of gamers and you refused? Yeah whoever made that decision to not partner with Skylanders needs to be fired ASAP!

And I thought refusing to use Sony’s PS1 tech was the worst business decision they could possibly make.

Square says DRM is essential…
Sony sells off all the Square shares…

PS4 wins !

Way Activision handles shows it’s reports for investors. It doesn’t say how well games did let alone on which console.

As for the Nintendo/Sony deal it wasn’t ps1 tech there wasn’t a mips processor on that hardware it was just cd attachment for the snes. If it got past prototype it would of been another 6502 variant to keep the architecture similar for the programmers.
