Last “Horror” game I saw was Sonic the Hedgehog 2006.
The horror is why Sega continues to rape Sonic and how is Sega still in business.

There have been good Sonic games after Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Compilations and releases don’t count. LOL

I bite, I like the Sonic Advance series on the GBA, but mainly because they still play like the old genesis games.
Sonic 4 tried, but no Banana.

Not yet. I heard from Old school fans the classic levels are worth wild, but I can’t stomach Sonic in his 3D settings. Even in it’s hay-day I didn’t like Sonic Adventure. I can’t play more than a few minuets before I want to turn the system off and just read a book.
Look at the Mario Games, the best selling Mario Games are all 2D (or 2.5 if you consider the NEW Super Mario bros series).

Lol I feel like sonic is a hot topic around this thread. I guess While we are on the topic I will go ahead and add sonic colors was still a lame sonic game. Wisp powers were dumb, the platforming felt weird, the stages outside of planet wisp werent so memorable, and sonic should never swim. Unleashed and generations did it best.

You have that one homie that did big things and is doing well for himself*(Mario), then you have that other homie(Sonic)* that could’ve been just as well off or better, but can’t stay off weed/alcohol long enough to apply himself.

Could be worse, he could be that homie*(Mega Man)* that got married, had a bunch of kids, and then found out his wife*(Capcom)* has been fuckin’ another dude for the last three years and one of his kids might not be his… So he dips and you lose all contact with him, until your big homie calls you all up to be partners in his new business venture*(Smash Bros.)*…

I remember Sonic Adventure blowing me away at the time. I dl’ed the XBL demo many years later since I don’t own the game anymore, and man did that not hold up. I was done with 3d Sonic after SA2. I’m liking the demo of Sonic Lost World. I don’t see it going the way of SA, but from what I played, it felt closer to the 2d ones.
