Capcom is doing a dark souls clone now , for serious? loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

MH is still the best of the “boss hunt” games… Why do you think every other one is basically trying to emulate it?

KOF started of emulating.

KOF is also now a better series than SF.

@KnucklesBird

I can’t watch those videos at the moment but I will give them a gander.

My inherent response is that essentially what you provided was an isle speed run race

Because it prints money. I like the boss hunt/FG comparison, because MH right now is the closest thing SF2 in terms of popularity/sales.

You wish that’d happen with MH and RO lol… MH consistently puts out quality titles. The only issue is the platform they’re on.

Rightfully so.

How does it feel living with crippling autism?

You are one to talk.

you’re one of the failed abortions from Tech Talk who come to GD and post one word replies and picture/gif replies.

So any ways, back to Retro consoles.

Contra III the Alien Wars or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, Turtles in Time?

Closer to adhd.

But it’s cool, your taste cancer isn’t infectious.

What about them? I mean yea they are really good, that’s pretty much a givin at this point.

I didn’t like MH at first either… I played it on my friend’s PSP before I had my own and thought it was boring. Then, one day, I was thinking back on it and something possessed me to just go out and buy it. Been hooked ever since. I’ve found that the people who like RO over MH are people who don’t have the patience to get into the latter as, I will admit, it starts off pretty slow. The thing is, however, that you only get that “slow start” feeling the first time you play a MH game. Starting out in new installments doesn’t feel as slow because you know the drill at that point and you get through it really fast.

if you got to pick one, which one will you pick?

there is only one shinobi ,the original arcade …when sf2 came out and the lines were long fatal fury n shinobi got my quarters

Monster Hunter may feel slow for first timers but everything is timing based and deliberate. Once you get the hang of what the game is asking of you, then you start to understand why the game is designed the way it is. Shooting a monster out of the sky with a well placed arrow shot before he/she flees the area is one of the most satisfying things in that game…along with actually timing a well placed swing from a large weapon that completely flips the monster backward and onto the ground.

TMNT IV probably. Contra III is cool, but I don’t like the mode 7 levels.

I’ll test your theory…I also thought MH was pretty dull when I bought Unite for the PSP. I’ll try it out tomorrow.

Try to play at least until you kill your first “boss” monster. Great Jaggi in the case of MHFU. After that kill, you’ll know…
