Thief which came out in 1998 was set in a steam punk Victorian city, where stealth mechanics are played, the game have a near “Dark Souls” level of difficulty and magic was added in the expansion THIEF THE DARK PROJECT. You play as Garret who trained by the Keepers who are a clandestine and almost occult like society to be a professional thief.
Thief II added Robots enemies and cameras and a new nemesis to thwart Master thief Garret. You have to save the world this time, but you get to rob everyone blind in the process.
Thief III, your tasked to steal some ancient artifacts and prevent a prophecy to bring a age of darkness to the world.
Dishonored, set in a plague riddled industrial revolution era city, you play as Corvo Attano framed for murder forced to become an assassin to seek revenge. Corvo is aided in his quest by the Loyalists—a resistance group fighting to reclaim the Victorian city of Dunwall.
Thief IV, Garret returns to find the city ruled by a tyrant, the city infested with the plague and Garret being a Master Thief is going to exploit things in his favor, which just happening to try to save the day.
Thief IV adds Focus mode which is more like a low-tech detective mode from Batman Arkham series than the powers of Dishonored. You can also slow time and use it for attacks later in the game.
So new games can’t have detective mode and plagues now? This is CANDY CRUSH SAGA level stupidity.

agreed if ya like dishonored ya will probably like thief also, who gives a nutsack who did what first…Dishonoreds proven good, wait for thief reviews or grab it or just dont, play dishonored one more time… They both look great , Dishonored proven…thief from the trailers looks gangster, but could play like ass or a watered down dishonored…The achievements are similar

My mistake its Hack-n-slash action RPG, but its still Ragnarok, all based on a MMO that makes World of Warcraft look young.
From videos and reviews, Odyssey is about as confusing of a game system as the MMO, and the MMO you can’t get anywhere without guides.
If your a Fan of Ragnarok Online then go for it, if your looking for a good medieval hack-n-slash get Dragon’s Crown instead.

The game is more akin to Monster Hunter / Soul Sacrifice than anything else.
Having said that, it’s not particularly great… I played for about 20 hours when the original first came out on Vita, but I got bored rather quickly.
Those kinda games just aren’t really for me, I don’t think. I have to be playing them with a group of people for me to retain interest, and I was playing ROdyssey solo the vast majority of the time.
So. just like the MMO. Fun with friends but boring as fuck going solo.
Game is trash. Still patiently waiting for a Monster Hunter game to hit the Vita

If you want some of the older classic and the option to play in HD, even recording some footage in HD if that’s your thing, you should grab a Xbox (the real 1) and get to modding. I can confirm that 90% of my classic emu on the Xbox work without any problems.
Do it! Even today the PS2 is a must have console. Anyone who didn’t own a PS2 console in its glory days should go back and check out all the good games they’ve miss. Some of the best RPGs, AAs, and Fighters of all time are available on the PS2, don’t act like you don’t know! I just bought me anyone console in case my older one stop working. Right now I’m playing the 2nd game in the Fatal Frame series and thinking about doing some Shinobi/Nightshade speedruns.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is getting a console and PC release in April.

The king of racers is Kinetica and I’ve seen no sign of it coming back.
Monster Hunter 4 allows you to attack in mid-air and you can climb on the monsters to attack them like in Dragon’s Dogma. Scaling monsters > air combat.
Monster Hunter got a tourney scene. Look at those videos. Dudes taking on duos and trios of powerful monsters and taking them down in just a few minutes.
