The Last of Us seems to be destroying critical reception. The only 2 so far not completely enamored with the game are Gamespot and Polygon.

Rumours at the moment, but on the cancelling of their E3 roundtable - there are a fair few people stating that MS are having yield issues with their hardware configuration. The type that can’t be fixed properly without delaying launch for 9-12 months. If true, options are a) Gamble on bad/faulty hardware or b) Reduce the output of the GPU to increase yields.
If true, that’s a real clusterfuck to contend with, as PS4 was already thought to be the more capable machine. But this is what you get when you opt for a complicated architecture, much like Sony did last gen although their problems came from nobody knowing how to design games for theirs. Sony on the other hand have gone for a fairly simplified build this time around.
Talk seems to be mainly around MS reducing the output of the GPU. Failing to launch would cost untold $£$£
