And here is the 100% official confirmation
I think Iâm one of the few people who didnât like Horizon: 100 Yawns.
I loved Killzone 2 last-gen(I consider it one of the GOAT FPS games, actually) and I liked KZ3 even if it was a step back from 2 in a lot of ways. I hated Killzone: Shadow Fall and Horizon though. Iâm 50/50 on liking Guerrila Games releases, haha.
Killzone 1 I played back in the day on PS2 and again last-gen with the collection, but I never got very far before shelving it. I do remember all of the âHALO KILLERâ ads back in the day though, those were great. KZ2 thoughâŚgoddamn man what a game. Overall I liked Sonyâs 1st and 2nd party releases on PS3 way more than the games they released on PS4.
I like in this example that the vector is going to be a smash player. Accurate AF.

E3 without sony wasnât going to be E3 so Iâm alright it got canned.
I tried KZ1, 3 and the PS4 one and thought they where very very boring. Like HZD a lot tho. Different strokes I guess. Halo killer my ass tho lol.
this one isnât a parody account though
That man lives up to his name. Crap gamer indeed.
Philâs exasperation is TANGIBLE
Haha the Halo killer marketing was great. That sucks you didnât like KZ3, I thought it had a solid campaign.
KZ2 thoughâŚthe campaign AND multiplayer is amazing. Usually itâs one or the other with FPS games, but KZ2 had both. It feels like youâre going through a war in the campaign, and you move from level to level in a way thatâs similar to Half-Life 1 & 2 and DOOM 3 in that it all feels connected. KZ3 teleported you from level to level though, which wasnât as good.
KZ2 is by far Guerrilla Games best title imo. Graphically it still holds up and looks better than a lot of current-gen titles out there, which is hilarious. Sadly Sony axed the online servers a while back so you canât experience the greatness that is 32 player Warzone, but you can experience the hype campaign. Itâs literally > 5 dollars everywhere, youâve tried the lesser KZ titles so you should give the GOAT a chance.
Good Guy Phil.
He gave Bear and Bird back to Nintendo.
Iâd send him a holiday card.
Iâd probably be all over pc gaming by now if it offer physical games, the free online play is a big reason. Iâm going to start to get all my fighters in pc now since I never use my psn subscription for anything. Iâm just wasting money there. I might have to get the games until they are low in price thou I canât get myself to pay 60 for a downloaded title just yet.
I might give KZ2 a try someday but I really donât have high hopes for me enjoying it. I like HZD from them best. Itâs not perfect but I did really enjoy it the 3 or so times I played through it. Playing through the patched in Super Hard Mode was a really fun way to get some real life out of the NG+ option.
Game is legendary. I remember he said in the video that itâd be one of the best FPS games of all time if it had a PC release and this triggered someone in the comments.
Oh yeah, Killzone: Mercenary for the Vita is my 2nd favorite Guerrilla Games release. I consider it to be as good as it is because it copied the shiiieet out of Killzone 2, right down to some of the assets. Awesome campaign AND multiplayer, even if it was capped at like 8 players or so. It felt like a downscaled KZ2 experience, and it even had some of the same maps as KZ2. Good times.
And just using that an example is just basic low hanging fruit but a few days ago I saw a dude come out of the bathroom stall after clearly finishing taking a shit and didnât wash his hands. Those are the mother fuckers in general Iâm talking about. We got this virus going on and he still didnât give a fuck.
Not many people do, everyone waits for sales or Humble Bundle deals. That or, you can be like drizzt and just pirate every indie and major release.
The sales happen often and prices go down quickly becauseâŚitâs digital. I say most of my purchases are around the 10-30 bucks range or so, because like you I donât want to pay much more than that without getting something physical in return.
I have the occasional exception though. I Day Juanâd DOOM 2016 @ full price and I will do the same with DOOM Eternal because itâs fucking DOOM brah.
That last tweet tho. You can feel the regret of him ever buying an Xbox.
The whole âphysical vs. digitalâ debate doesnât really hold up anymore.
With all the patches and DLC going around, physical releases arenât physical anymore.
Take SFV for example. If you buy a physical disk of it and for some reason canât download the DLC and patches, youâre stuck with a buggy, barely playable garbage with absolutely no content.
I heard about âphysicalâ editions of Steam games with only a download card inside the box if you want those for collecting purposes.
Looks at the 30+ physical PS4 and 20+ physical Switch games
Hmmm.
I get what you mean about Patches but yea no.
The physical disc of the PC version of MGSV only had the steam installer on it.
Ok, but why tho?
