If you just care about the three characters, I mean yeah, obviously donā€™t buy Aftermath. For me, I knew Iā€™d enjoy the story, stages, characters and cosmetic content. Pretty sure all the content in it will be available individually later this month.

The funny part is in Injustice 1 they at least had occasional minigames right after the cutscene but before the fight, and depending on how well you did in those you or your opponent couldā€™ve had less HP for example. I dunno if they something like that for Inj2, and MKX only had a couple of QTE sections (which made no sense to me personally)

A couple of months ago there was an Aftermath Collection leak on Steam for MK11, and apparently it had like another dozen of character slots for DLC. Considering NRSā€™ statement that they were going to support this game longer than their usual 2-year cycle before a shiny new product is out, and the fact that Aftermath is just 3 characters when Kombat Pack 1 added 6 - Iā€™m leaning towards that there will be more characters released down the line, if not this year then in 2021 for sure.

Looking back the same 4chan leak also had details on the new Guilty Gear. Considering that Strive did get announced, any chances that it was a legit leak?

The claw and mask have had some weird effects over the years and sometimes they do nothing outside the obvious reach the Claw gives him. He always loses poking range when he loses the Claw of course.

In SF4 he does less damage if he loses the claw and does/takes more damage if he loses the mask.
