What? I’m not even stanning, I’m just the type that gets annoyed by idiots that don’t fully think about what they say. Why is it even bad to be unique as long as the end product is good? And again, you haven’t actually said what the problem with the game is that makes him a hack. Do you have a reason or are you just upset he isn’t making something you can recognize?
Edit: like, dude, I DON’T EVEN LIKE MOST OF HIS GAMES. The only game I legit love that he made is ZOE2. MGS2 and 5 I liked somewhat but I had issues with both of those. This isn’t stanning

His games for the longest have been up their own ass with jargon and fever-dream styled swerves since MGS2. A lot of them are mechanically fantastic, but his narratives and delivery are stuffy as hell

Also, I ALREADY KNOW the dude gets overly complicated about things and has both over and under explained things and retconned shit and whatever else. If you want to summarize the specific points that are relative to DS then sure, let’s.
I mean shit, that video itself mentions getting death threats for not directing MGS4 early on. And it’s common knowledge he kept trying to walk away from the series and for one reason or another didn’t. It’s not THAT surprising that a series with that kind of background ends up fucked up in some ways.

Damn D4 is a current-gen game. I’m surprised by this…means it might come out in a reasonable time frame.
Also Sorc over Wizard. Me likey. D2 classes > D3 classes pretty free, if they bring back a Bow char I’d like to see the Amazon or even the Rogue from D1.
