Video Game General 6.5: Now with more surprise mechanics

Was Guard sealed?

yes

That’s why. GameStop employees legally can’t take in sealed games as trade. Even if you open it in front of them they still wouldn’t be able to take it in.

I checked one redbox a while back and it didn’t offer any games.

Cause peeps steal the fuck outta games.

You can buy games from Redbox too though so just because people are trading them in to Gamestop doesn’t mean they are stolen at all. I almost bought Gears 5 from it because it was $30, but even that was too much for me.

Dunno how you steal fromReb Box in the first place. That shits tied to your account…whatever.

Yes. But when it’s a game that literally came out that day. It’s a different story.

Haha yeah true. At least they should peel off the barcodes.

Got my cab in it’s home location until my pi2jamma comes.

Too bad the only game I have that works is KI1. While I love that game, it has not aged well at all. It’s really boring single player, and for some reason the moves in it are hard to pull off compared to other fighters for me. I remember it used to not be hard at all for me to do Jago’s wind kick and laser sword, but now it’s tough for me.

ha, it just hit me… if they actually do make F76 a ā€œfree to playā€ thing, my friend with the exceptionally bad taste will then ask if I downloaded it yet since ā€œit’s free now, dude; can’t go wrong with that, right?ā€ā€¦because he’s always desperate for co-op on any game…this situation will be a bit annoying but amusing at the same time. Hell naw, man… not even if Jesus Christ magically appeared to give me this game completely free of charge. My xbox hdd shall not ever be stained by that abomination.

Yeah, when I pre-ordered Monster Hunter last year Best Buy gave me Destiny 2 for free.

It’s still unopened.

Lol, I’m gonna play some Destiny 2 tonight after some matches in Rocket League.

does anyone have recommendations for a video game news site that does better than most at avoiding spoilers. im a few years behind so im mostly playing old games. the ā€œbigā€ game sites cant seem to refrain from making references to plot events, character appearances, etc. from previous games even in their headlines.

also what is everyones thoughts on playing more than one single player story-based game at a time. havent done this since i was a kid but i have so many to catch up on, and sometimes i get irked by whatever im playing.

I would love to know myself, some sites would go out there way to spoil games, sometimes in very cruddy ways like how Kotaku would to with game studios, they spoil an announcement that studio or developer making at e3 only days before.

so far so good… this is only docked footage though

Portable vampire action… soon :star_struck:

this Pi2Jamma is hella expensive it’s just an adapter for the Raspberry pi?
wtf?! seriously

For what it is, and that it’s made by a small time hobbyist rather than a big name company that can reduce the price of doing manufacturing it in bulk explains alot of the price if the Pi2Jamma.

Also the Pi dont normally output arcade RGB, so you need conversion hardware on that board, a sound amp for the speakers, GPIO breakout for the game controllers, all that not cheap.

Actually looking at the price 89 Euro, is a very fair price.
