I imagine they are Wi-Fi because the controller is your “console” no? What does it Bluetooth to?
Not saying it’s a good idea or anything just that I can see why they went that way.
You got a Google Chrome cast for the Display and one of their controllers.
If you got a PC, you can use whatever controller you want with it.
You also need their new App on a PC or mobile device to set it up.
The Console is “in the Cloud”

Yea which is why I think they went with Wi-Fi over Bluetooth for the controller. It’s in the cloud so they want to use wifi. Far more common then internet connection through Bluetooth right?
Edit: Also Bluetooth is more expensive and the controllers are already 70 fucking dollars.
Thanks for the heads up! I bought what was supposed to be a used copy of that years ago, but the GS employee put the vanilla version in. Didn’t notice until I finished it (it sucked). This works out because I’m on a $2 trial of gamepass ultimate (or whatever it’s called) for a couple of months so I could play Gears 5 dirt cheap on PC.

Yo wtf… how come capcom hasn’t done a game like this? Final fight, but with like all capcom characters. Even for mobile I’d play it.

They tried, but for some reason it was scraped. And Capcom salvaged what they could from the project to make a cash grab to recoup the losses. Thus the Dumpster fire that was Capcom Fighting evolution/Jam
Are you talking about Capcom All-Stars? That was a fighter as well. It never got beyond location tests in Tokyo.

None of it was used on Capcom Fighting Jam either as Allstars was fully 3D and Fighting Jam is recycled assets Mahvel style.

It’s a mix of Overwatch style abilities with Counter Strike gunplay/TTK.
In addition to that they showed, among other things, some of the fighting game the Cannons are making. At 3:17 one of the Cannons starts talking about the game and shows off a little of it. There’s also some more finished gameplay at 0:32.
