Yeah I admit it

27 titles across 4 releases. Some timeless classics. Some time has not been kind to. Some that were just flat out bad. But the great outweighs the bad heavily. So it’s all good.

I’m still waiting for them to release Power Battles 1&2 on Modern Consoles, too.

The translation there is hella wonky but sounds like he’s trying to do a Gurren Lagann-ish thing? Big Hero?

There will probably make more of a traditional announcement later in the day (it’s almost 2pm in Japan) or ā€œtomorrowā€

Whatever it will be, Day fucking Juan.

We need more mecha shit. Followed closely by more vampire and werewolf shit. Untapped markets for gaming.

It being another Tokusatsu-esque game immediately gives it my attention. Viewtiful Joe was a masterpiece and such a wonderful love letter to the genre.

Kamiya has me day 1, always. I was gonna buy an Xbox One for Scalebound.

I can’t wait to see his new project.

Ultraman isn’t mecha, it’s a dude that turns giant, so I wouldn’t expect it to be mecha-like.

I’m sure it’ll be cool whatever it is though

I know, just an observation bout game releases.

Well in that case I agree. Been way too long since a really solid mecha game has come out.

(I don’t own a switch)

I bet the last project is Scalebound.

NGL, the Zero games have the best story in all of Mega Man and I love how it comes to a definitive conclusion in Zero 4. I played all of these games on my GBA/DS and beat them on the default difficulty, so I’m glad a casual mode is there for myself and other players to enjoy the story. And good on Capcom for including all six games on the Switch version. For once.

I feel using the new checkpoint save feature is a better way of toning down the frustration level without totally neutering the challenge. If they’re still too tough, start popping those elves.

Yeah alot of us are assuming it is Ultraman because his is the name associated with battling Kaiju directly as a giant hero for toku, shout out to his low budget now anime famous bro Gridman though. However there exists the small possibility that the game could draw inspiration from the giant/super robot genre like Mazinger or far less likely Gigantor.
