well i think except for dragonball goku we’ve got them all covered unless they go into xeno/heroes stuff.

i don’t want to be one of those dragonball conspiracy guys but i know the kakarot had expanded canon stuff written in by toriyama but then that secret boss is there and that prob doesn’t count does it?

Nothing in a game counts unless they double down on it in some other main media source, in case of DB most fans view the anime as such. So unless it is reference in some future anime episode or canon movie it doesn’t count.
What? Bandai said right out of the gate that the new content being adding to the DBZ lore for Kakarot is official canon. Toriyama, who wrote all the new content confirmed as such shortly after the games announcement. Several media outlets focused on this fact heavily. It was legit one of the biggest selling points of the game.
I don’t think a secret boss would be canon though. Cause you know. They’re a secret. The character(s?) involved may become canon later down the line. But that’s up to Toriyama to decide.
Or they’re already considered canon. Again. That’s up to Toriyama to decide. Not people or fans who have nothing to do with the creative process.

How come Jedi get most of the saber colors and Sith get stuck with red?
Canon: There is no such thing as a red kyber crystal. A sith (or dark side user) bends the crystal to their will with the Force. Once complete, the crystal “bleeds” the color red.

I just want to see some visual variety with the Sith is all. It can be a bit boring when red is all there is.
Pretty much this. GT covers 4 and kid, SSJ covers 1 and 3, base covers saiyan/frieza saga. I wanna put strong doubt that they’d bother with ssj 2 especially since Goku’s 2 doesn’t really do much to dif itself. Only thing I can see happening is if they decide to split the UI between Sign and Mastered but I don’t think they’d do that. If they do Sign then Mastered will prob be either an install or they’ll do it like Broly super level 3.

Kakarot is Goku’s Sayajin name. Only Vegita calls him that. Not sure why they went with that subtitle for the game.

I was hoping for a red saber when I played through Fallen Order.
I get the feeling they are trying to bring it back. Goku called himself that name at the end of the Super movie when introducing himself as well which was weird.

Remains to be seen but if the overall consensus for this game is solid the yes since it covers all of Z. I’ve only heard of some events being changed slightly here and there so this may end up being one of the best ways to experience the story without watching it.
Also what Crotch said is correct. Kakarot is Goku’s saiyan name so only people who are saiyains call him this, most notably Vegeta. Kakarot is also a play on ‘carrot’ since every saiyan had a name that is a play on veggies.

Generally DBZ and Naruto games are great at showing the whole story so anyone can jump in. DBZ games can be iffy cause they’ll randomly not do all the Sagas. Kakarot seems like it’ll cover the whole with some extras.

A homie made me play fallen Order last weekend. I think I hurt his feelings cause I flat out told him I’m not going to get it and it was only ok.
I did speed runner style break the game by getting to areas I wasn’t supposed to without a double jump. If I can do that, the speed running community is going to tear that game apart
