Just dissapointed as hell. Every new dlc character has been pretty surprising and unique. I struggle to think of who was clamoring for this character to be in the game.
Iāve been singing the praises of this game for over two years, I think Iāve got a little room to finally voice one of my few complaints.

Iām with you, man. The FE characters are fucking lame to me, because there are so many of them. It was cool when we got Marth and Roy in Melee. But eight goddamn characters? Big fat UGH.
I donāt see how Pirana being free matters. Heās an added character. But meh, all the characters i wanted are in the base game lol.

Again fucking piranha plant. Free or not itās a Mario Rep, probably the wackest character in the game and addition to the franchise with the most reps. Yāall just gonna have to hold that 3 houses rep and pray they donāt give me another.
I donāt even mind the huge amount of FE, it just seems hella misguided to me to add another one when people have continually voiced their disdain for the disproportionate amount of characters from that franchise. Nobody minds a billion PokĆ©mon because every PokĆ©mon is so wildly different from each other (save maybe Pichu and Pikachu). Nobody minds more Mario for the most part because THE GAME IS LITERALLY NAMED AFTER THEIR PROPERTY. I mean shit you got people STILL constantly asking for Waluigi. Pirhana Plant being free definitely matters because thatās my entire point. They didnāt ask extra money for him AND heās an entirely unique entry as opposed to being another addition to the āFE sword Boi gangā.

Smashers are spoiled as fuck. The base game literally has every character in the series included. Several are those are third party. No other fighter has the same luxury. On top of that and you have a god like soundtrack. In addition to the ludicrous amount of content, there are DLC fighters being added. A fan of any other fighter will happily trade what they have for that.

Smash community and some others bitch and think theyāre the majority. Pretty sure swordies sell like hotcakes and 3 houses did fucking phenomenally well. A rep was a guarantee.
