That guy in the video says its slim…but I can tell from the side and him just holding it that its chunky.
The design is allegedly a prototype. Dell is showing it off to get feedback on it. The design could get slimmer. I would like to see a beefer battery and no RBG. Seriously, who wants RBG on the analog sticks?
Look how tall the sticks are…
“Two hours of battery life”
Ha ha ha, Nope.
The unit is still a prototype. There’s still time to make it energy efficient to extend battery life.
caught enough of the CES Presentation from Sony. Not buying a PS5 at launch unless it’s at least $50 - $100 cheaper than Series X. That’s the only way they’ll win now, is by lowering the launch price.
didn’t they only show a logo?
they did. However, the original PSX was shown at CES; and I think that Sony is being lazy about it all (reiterating the Wired article pretty much on stage and showing the new logo). They’re playing it safe; just like they did back in the transition period between PS2-PS3.
I doubt it’ll have no effect on Platinum. Like…I have nothing but doubt about that.
It is absolutely going to impact how platinum is ran.
Yea this is worrying.
Whenever someone leads with “This will have no effect on ‘X’ company’s leadership” that means they’re already under the thrall and will be officially under the umbrella within a year or two.
Daniel Ahmad who is a Chinese tech analyst/specialist fleshes out more of what’s going on with Tencent and Platinum.

We’ll see…
Considering what’s recently been happening with the studio I don’t believe a single word from this (besides the investment of course).
RIP Platinum Games
…man, sure would be nice if I could finally get around to the cool looking weapons and gear in Code Vein… I am still in the early game but this greatsword I’ve been using for a while now just looks stupid to me… the npc partner (Yakumo) has a much better looking greatsword. They always tend to look silly when it’s more of a rectangle shape with a boxy end point…it just makes the thing look like a giant version of a paddle, like what they once beat kids with back in the days of actual punishment going on in schools.
I was just barely able to scrape by in the fight with that poisonous butterfly-looking creature yesterday. She’s super-fast and constantly dishing out poison (the damage-over-time effect of this lasts apparently forever so you NEED the antivenom cure item or gift or else you seriously have zero chance of beating this bitch) Oh yeah…and this is only the second boss creature in the game, btw. I was fighting it for probably close to 2 hours last night.
sheeeitttt, I’ll just check some build/guide vids on this game… aha, first one found already piques my interest…
I started up Jedi Fallen Order 2 days ago on Jedi Grand Master and the game is def taking some getting used too. I have this really bad tendency to run into groups lightsaber swinging and you can’t do that in this game. When someone said defense is everything in this game they weren’t kidding. You really gotta pick and choose your times to attack and block and priortize who needs to go first. Parrying and insta killing smaller enemies can help but you can’t parry insta kill out of block so you have to willingly drop your guard for a second to do it. That’s not as easy if you have 3 storm troopers all taking swings at you and 2 storm troopers up high taking pot shots at you. Health melts off of you quickly. I’m really digging it so far though. My only complaint I have is I think the animations are still kind of janky and I think the reason foe that is that they aren’t blended together well. Individual animations are not bad but Cal seems really jerky when trying to go from one action to another.
