Itās Google. They know everything. I said Fatal Fury The Motion Picture here when someone was asking about them and now I get FF movie videos in my YouTube feed. Never googled it just talked about here on SRK, now Youtubes like Heyā¦psst hey. Come here man. So I uhā¦i hear you like some Fatal Fury Anime" and Iām just lookin at Google like āBruhā¦ā

I donāt think itās that people care about what wins itās the matter of how they won since award shows are always bias if not downright rigged. It shows that those companies ultimately donāt care about the consumer but they know that the people that do care about these so called awards and accolades will be drawn to their game like moth to a flame and feel they have some sort of validation about liking a clearly shitty game or a game that clearly shouldnāt be in xy or z category.
Those same people also think console wars are still related a thing.
the only game i really care about winning is Gris. that game needs to win somethin for its dope watercolor art style.

Never been a PC gamer. Never played either of these games. Iāve never even heard of this man until a friend on FB shared this article.
However, I know dozens who have played these games, who do know of him and I know how influential these games were in not just PC gaming, not just MMOās but gaming as a whole.
Sad to hear about the passing of someone who gave so much to a medium he loves and who brought so many people so much happiness

Tung Fue Rue is awesome in Real Bout Fatal Fury 2. Went a few matches with my nephew and while I was taking it easy on him at first, he started spamming the same few movea and I couldnāt find a way to counter them. I guess I started the whole thing whem I beat him with said character.

@ReggieH Heās awesome in NGBC too. Well. I wouldnāt say awesome but he was solid upper B tier. His move where his body grows is legit amazing in NGBC.
You could combo into it plus depending on how you hit buttons (itās command was similar to hondaās HHS but it had to be done rhythmically to garner more hits and the more hits the stricter the timing) you could do around 21 hits with it which did a little over 25% health to a character. Even more so if it was in the corner. If in the corner you could get 30-41 hits easily.
One of my favorite characters to play. My main team was Hanzo/Mudman but I fucked around with TFR pretty often.
I really wanted to play Iori in that game (my favorite KOF characters and one of my favorite FG characters in general) but whenever I played him it just felt like he was moving through fucking mud. Having mobility is a huge appeal to the characters I play and he didnāt have that in NGBC so I didnāt play him.

@HD-Man yeah. A PS4 or Switch release would be aces. Day 1. One of the reasons I kept my 360 for so long was because all the SNK fighters were exclusive to XBLA for the longest time. NGBC being among them.
I also Really to play Marco so bad cause of how busted he was but I just hated his mobility. His buttons and specials were unfairly good depending on who you asked but they all felt so fucking sluggish to me. I hated it.
I really, really, really like Yuki, the character they made for NGNC because he was SNKās power ranger but he was legit the worst character in the game by a very, very wide margin. He was worse than Dan and Sean tier combined.
I think my main team was Terry, Iori. TFR & Kim was my secondary. Shioshio and one of those ninjas from World Heroes when i felt like joking around (SNK somehow made those characters dope)
Fighting against Mr Karate used to give me trouble in that game with his auto-guard armor bullshit

The next chapter of the ongoing Anthem Saga should be a good round of laughs for us allā¦ imagine the disaster this will be when they decide to actually charge for it. I just have that suspicion that they may just go ahead and call it an actual sequel instead of something like āAnthem: Rebornā and slap a new 39.99 or 49.99+ price tag on itā¦just watch 
this will be hysterical, manā¦
I look forward to wherever this crazy train ends up. Whatever happens, itās guaranteed to be entertaining. 
ā¦hmmā¦not quite as funny as Fallout 76 though (Anthem at least had and still has very strong potential, imo. F76 was always destined to be trash since it is terrible even conceptually speaking. It never had even the slightest chance of being worth a damn.)ā¦that and Stadia have been the greatest disasters to to laugh about this year. I doubt anything will top those 2 for quite a while. Funny thingāat least to meā my old friend with the amazingly bad tasteā¦ when I brought up how bad F76 looks, he immediately just thought I was talking about the graphicsā¦ Iām like ānah, dudeā¦ thatās just the tip of the iceberg hereā¦ā that thing looks like garbage in every possible way. 
Itās truly in that āwonāt even play it for freeā category. No redeeming qualities at all.
