I need to play that Athena game.
Just fired up Ultimate to play on the KOF stadium stage. Yeah, she is rocking that KOF '95 outfit. Never noticed the short sleeves before. Makes sense that is the outfit she is wearing. KOF '95 is one of Sakuraiās favorites as well as being the game he bodied that couple in.
I thought the Athena in KOF was the same one from Psycho Soldier. Yeah, KOF is in its own continuity from Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting but this still confuses me. So the Athena from Athena and Psycho Solider are different, right?
The Ultimate arrangement of the Psycho Soldier Theme has blown up on YouTube.
Few things about this arrangement. It was done by Yuzo Koshiro. He made it to sound like an 80s anime opening theme. The vocalist sung this song twice. In Japanese and English. She even put emphasis on certain words in the languages of each track.
The English version doesnāt have as many vocals as the Japanese version. To make up for that, it has a killer sax solo.

Yeah, Athena in KoF is based on the Athena from Psycho Soldiers and just like Ralf and Clark are Ikari Warriors but not related to the game. But Athenas in both KoF and Psycho Soldiers is meant to be a modern reincarnation of the original Goddess Athena who debuted before all of them.

Ehhhh, I found Psycho Soldier to be better. They do need to bring back goddess Athenaās costume though.

Have you even played it? The game is great. Not saying anyone has to like it. But it is good. And having put as much time as I have into it now, I already know a bunch of shit that people said about the game, reviewers included, was just misinformed anyway. Just like half the people in this thread.
I donāt know if itās a masterpiece or not, but it IS a good game. And it CAN be fun to play(aside form taste differences of course). I donāt even understand how people were saying it isnāt fun to play, when it is. Itās not even light on mechanics like some people were saying.
Itās like no one paid any fucking attention when they played it

Diablo 3 has been online-only on PC since forever, only consoles can play it without an internet connection
yeah, this is exactly what I was suspecting would happen, sadlyā¦ and itās because the PC side of the fanbase just accepted and even defended that silly horseshit, which in turn made the company think thatās fine for all versions going forward then.

Itās not like this is a competitive shooter or fighter where the other dude cheating means you have no chance at āwinningā.
