Marvel movies are trivial to pirate, but somehow they managed to make a pretty penny off them in the Chinese market.
Because China is really big on the theater experience.
Movies have nothing to do with gaming.
There also no laws restricting movie watching like they do with gaming in China.
Children by law can’t have more than 90 min of video game play time.

The only game series that i still bought from them was NFS, but after Rivals they managed to fuck up ther NFS series by focusing again on tunner culture, dumb history and gameplay locked at 30fps.
Miss me with that BS.

Rivals was just shit, Payback had an atrocious story and an open world too big + lootbox based progression
My issue with Need for Speed as a whole is for some strange reason the series just can’t find its face still to this day. Ever since 2008 NFS keeps swinging one way or another, constantly changed its theme, and it’s like they don’t know who to appeal with this series

You are making a pileup out of a love tap. These laws are mild, practically impossible to fully enforce, and only affect a segment of the population. The Chinese market is far from closed to the medium.

China more of a PC gamer market.
The lack of legal alternatives no doubt played a part in that, but consoles are undoubtedly more user friendly and mainstream in markets that allow them without charging an arm and a leg. However, Microsoft has certainly invested a lot in the PC scene as well, so they stand to benefit either way.

Dude, go google it if you dont believe me, the biggest console seller in china is one that exclusive to China and its more of a PC than anything else. Piracy is going to make people flock to the system that is going to be the easiest to private on.
The ability to pirate software does not make it the defacto method of acquiring that software. You are making too many logical leaps to justify the conclusion. However, you are free to your opinion.

China pirates and bootlegs more products than the rest of the world. Then been bootlegging games since the 70s, their biggest and fastest growing market for gaming is PCs and Simular devices, and the Xbox never sold that well I Asian period (that includes china).
In case you forgot, they could not legally obtain the genuine article throughout most of their history with the medium. However, you are free to dismiss that fact and generalize in ways that give your argument merit.

-Grim Dawn style quest system
-A new campaign on top of the existing one in the original PoE
-SHAPESHIFTING WEREWOLF SKILL. You can change in and out forms at any time, no cooldown timer like in D4’s early showing. Animation looks ridiculous and the crowd laughed when they saw it, because they knew they did it as a F U to the D4 trailer. 
It looks pretty ridiculous, I’m not going to lie.
