Rust already has a huge following on PC. Why do you think players have connected with the game so much?
Rust is a harsh survival game. A dumb move and you can lose hours, days, weeks or progress.

NPD October 2019
Switch was the top selling system for the month. Some things of note Switch is still the best selling console of the year, PS4 is the 3rd fastest selling console in the US behind the Wii and PS2. Switch was apparently the only console with gains in Oct as well as Year to Date. Fighting Genre games sales are at an all time high thanks to MK 11 and Smash (yeah yeah yeah. Luigi’s Mansion was the highest selling Nintendo release for Oct having made 3rd on the list…considering that this game released Oct. 31st…that’s pretty fucking good. The top performer for October can be guessed pretty easily.

Starred Started watching Fatal Fury: Legens of the Hungry Wolf. Kid Terry basically wears the same outfit he wears as an adult. I do like that they mirrored the opening of the first game with the slow title drop and Terry staring off into the distance. I also like how Terry is sporting his OG Fatal Fury get up. With the rolled up sleeve jacket. Andy has blue hair.
Yeah, this is some 90s cheese. The dubbing is bad but really bad dubs are like a lost art. The fights aren’t on the same level as SFII, but I’m entertained, which was why I wanted to watch it so it is time well spent.

FF2 was done a LOT better than the first. And the Motion Picture was way above that.

FF 1 was OK, not mind blowing or anything, fills the requirements of a passable OVA. Weird design choices like Andy having silver hair, Richard Myer being hella old, the Rising Tackle is a diving knee for some reason?, and Reppuken becomes a Kamehameha cuz fuck you LOL. Lily as a love interest for Terry seems hella forced, felt she was just a waste of space. The way Jeff Bogard is held down by kids makes zero sense to me. Weird how the FF 1 cast wasn’t even that big to begin with yet some characters receive only like 5-second cameos (Hwa Jai, Michael Max) Also no final battle in Geese Tower is ass. Making up new moves like Senpu Ken or Hado Senpu Kyaku looks hella wack.
FF 2 is an improvement over the first. Relatable story of Terry being defeated, falling into depression and training to get back to the top, good stuff. Still more weird design choices (Krauser with no moustache looks hella weird to me, Kaiser Wave looks nothing like the in-game version). Strangely enough, this game actually introduces the fact that Geese and Krauser are half-brothers which later DOES become canon in the SNK universe. Oh and I absolutely LOATHE that Tony kid as a sidekick. He always comes off as an asshole to me, especially in that initial scene where he picks a fight with some bullies when they were just minding their own business playing charades. Then he prides himself on being a Terry fanboy yet never recognizes Terry until Kim called him out. OK? Also the setting for this movie is so weird to me. Like I wanna believe it’s Europe, but they also travel to Southtown? Which I guess is now in Europe since Terry travels everywhere via motorcycle? Overall good times.
Motion Picture is…cool and yet…bloated? Typical anime bullshit where they blow everyone’s power up to 11. Mai gets a hella boobjob and also gets her very own shower scene cuz Chun got hers in the SF animated movie LOL. The artstyle also seems to take a turn towards the effeminate style because Japan of course. Also introducing new characters and villains since I guess FF 3 had not been released yet so they had to come up with something. Liked how they gave characters like Kim and Duck King some shine. Plot seems a bit all over the place since they seem to tot many plot lines at once. The introduction of Sulia has Terry’s new love interest was also so ho-hum, only to perpetuate this silly trope that Terry has some of “love curse” or something (it was so annoying that people later on were writing off Blue Mary because of the fate of Terry’s two lovers in the animated series, like why even relate the two?). Final battle was so over the goddamn top and silly that you wouldn’t even believe it was Fatal Fury anymore.
I guess SNK was so impressed with Masami Obari’s character designs that they even gave him a whole game to fuck with, hence Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer came into existence. I actually kinda wondered what Obari was up to recently, and judging by his Wiki, he focus mainly on the Super Robot Wars games nowadays.
Still the best SNK anime you will see, as AOF and SamSho are wack as fuck and for some unknown reason they won’t commit to a proper KOF fleshed out anime (yes I know of Another Day, what about it motherfuckers?)

Naw that is the bait. They building rep and a noticable catalogue of games that they can put on the next system. No less then 75% or more of the titles the just announced and released this year plus will be on Gamepass this time next year. So PC gamers can get a taste or Scarlet owners can. It is a smart play, if PS5 and Scarlett released near the same time, which out the box will be able to provide a bunch of games due not just backwards conpatiblity but due to a well regarded and affordable service that is literally Netflix for games new, old and indie.
