That video was really fucking funny. Every single side presented in that story is true though.
Some people are mad about one of the key elements in Pokémon, the national dex is gone.
Some people are mad about Pokémon churning out half-assed generational games despite being the biggest franchise in the world.
Some people are mad about GF/TPC telling fans things they’re doing is to make the game “better” but nothing has reflected that to be true.
Some people want to play Pokémon simply because they enjoy the video games.
Some people are excited about how the competitive landscape is going to be shaped due to all the new Pokémon and so many Pokémon a lot of which are the old Uber (Banned) and OU (Overused) guard being cycled out this generation.
All of them are valid. But all of them go to extremes to make their points valid and it’s kinda silly.
I’m not getting the game because it just doesn’t look appealing to me. Everything I hated about Gen 7 (Sun/Moon) seems exasperated in Gen 8. Cute waifu’s and a handful of cool looking Pokémon isn’t worth $60 to me.
My thing with fandoms and hobbies is it seems everyone seems to think it’s as simple as black and white. It’s not. You can still love a franchise but just support it in different ways. Thankfully with Pokémon there are a plethora of ways.
I’ll still read the Pokémon manga. I’ll still play the card game. If they make more console spin offs like mystery dungeon I’ll buy those too. I’ll still watch the anime from time to time as well as the movies. However, until they fix the generational games I won’t support those.
It’s really no different than people not liking certain entries of versions to fighting games. Or any thing really. Games, pen and paper core rules manuals, certain comic book character runs…etc. I mean look at fucking the fandom for Star Wars right now. It’s a fucking mess.
It Doesn’t mean you don’t like the franchise or the genre anymore. It just means in its current state you’re not willing to support it. The only reason this has gained so much traction is because Pokémon is actually the largest franchise in the world.

Shit that changes the time table, was going to buy Astral Chain for my Black Friday splurging but may have to pick this up to snag the Nirvash DLC.
I played a demo of that on PC, it was kind of fun once you get use to the control. The OST was pretty good (although that’s kind of expected for Touhou), this was favorite song

Only Super Monkey Ball games I played was 1 & 2. Never touched Banana Blitz so I’m curious about the HD release. The levels look even crazier than the ones in SMB 1 & 2. Anybody pick it up?
Also, with Terry being the bee’s knee in Ultimate, I totally forgot there was a Fatal Fury OVA. Did any of you guys ever watch it? Was it Street Fighter II level or close?
There are 3 Fatal Fury OVAs. I liked all 3 but the first one is probably the strongest and the 3rd the weakest. None are SFII Animated movie strong, but they are good fun to watch anyway. Mai’s titties are filled with helium in FF2.

EA has yet to fuck with a Respawn release.
Not saying they wont…just they havent…yet.
