You can play the game on expert? I struggle on some songs on normal. I did one of the extra songs on hard and got wrecked. I need to step my game up.
I need Steam VR to play a game that’s epic exclusive? That retarded.
Watching PC become popular as a format has been hilarious. It’s almost a repeat of Apple stans who would brag about how Apple PCs never get Viruses only for it to turn out that was the case cuz Apple was an unpopular platform. Soon as Apple became a popular brand the viruses came out of the fucking woodwork haha
Same shit with PC gaming and almost everything they bragged about being great about PC gaming come crashing down as the platform becomes popular. “PC gaming the best! Works on any machine, no stupid exclusivity yada yada.” Now there is DRM out the ass, gotta have a stupid fucking client rumning for the game to work, competing store fronts to the point you need multiple store clients on your computer to run one fucking game.
PC Mustard Race.

Yeah whenever a new song comes out I just play it on expert off the break. You will adapt pretty quick.
I’m sweating my fucking ass off right now lol. Feel gross, will shower again before I go to bed.

For most instances, this would be correct. But to my knowledge, there’s only one DRM-free store in GOG. I liked using this platform, as it is truly DRM-free. Only bad thing is that not enough publishers believe in it.
Of course, this didn’t stop me from buying Cyberpunk 2077 on it.

Yea GOG and itch.io are pretty much the only digital PC platforms I buy from.
what’s really interesting is that CDPR have put Cyberpunk on quite a few stores to buy. I think I even saw it in the store in the Epic Games client.
Watch Epic be it’s lowest selling platform when it comes out tho
You do know that CDPR owns GOG right?

oh yeah, i remember even if you dont.
you prob cant remember since you know, you were drunk.
hmmm.
or maybe it was hecatombz and not you.
it was many years ago. but i’m 75% sure it was you. not 100% only cuz there was another srk member with a similar username.
hecatombz was the guy.
consider yourself lucky i cant remember if it was you or him. but if i had to bet, i’d say.
you. assuming hecatombz isnt your alt account.

ok this fucking game is goddamn impossible, man, A friend and I have been in the sewer level for hours at this point…hours. seems like I was actually doing better solo
The small enemies + the dual-blade big guy = RIDICULOUS. Basically you got a big motherfucker with blade arms that blocks bullets…while his little buddies run up with super speed before you can do anything…sooooo you get fucked up either by the super-fast little dudes or the big blade-armed guy…guaranteed. …and now there’s a boss who isn’t really shit…but he has backup from the exploding enemies…enemies that explode for HALF your health, by the way. Yeah because THAT’s reasonable, right…sure…
edit—ha, finally lucked up and got that son of a bitch though… finally some progress …and it is delicious.
Make sure to upgrade both weapons and armor back at the home base. The early armor upgrades really help.

I don’t have an issue running my games on a client. I like to organize my digital library. I don’t fuck with EA and Ubisoft games so I don’t have to touch their clients. Epic can EAD though with their console war bullshit.
speaking of old school shooter love:

Man…Diablo II had actual skill trees. They patched in an interesting feature later on called “synergies” where if you dumped skill points into X skill, it would also increase the damage/effectiveness of another skill. This opened up a lot of builds and made melee sorcs an actual thing, which was awesome.
They tossed out skill trees in D3 so…they could give you random skills every couple of levels instead.
They lost pretty much all of their talent and they started to change around the time they began making every single one of their titles look like World of Warcraft.
It’ll be interesting to see how D4 shapes up. I’ll try it out for sure. I doubt I’ll like it as much as PoE, but I’d bet $$$ that’ll it smoke lesser ARPG’s like Victor Vran and Grim Yawn. Blizzard hit the panic button by announcing D4 is in development+the classic World of Warcraft servers.

This is precisely why although I’m kinda hype for a new Diablo game I’m also scared they’re gonna botch it more than they did Diablo III. The Kotaku story on how the game went from a Dark Souls-esque ARPG to the classic isometric ARPG we know and love, and how D4’s teaser/reveal was definitely pulled the last minute from last year’s Blizzcon do not help the situation
That’s not to mention that all the key people that made Diablo what it is have since long left the company, including Josh Mosquierra, who pretty much salvaged D3 via Reaper of Souls after Jay Wilson ruined the vanilla version with stupid shit like the Auction House
So yeah… I have no idea what it’s going to be like, but at this point I’ll take anything that’s as far from D3 as possible in terms of progression, combat, skills and story

Fun fact: If you run Dark Souls 3 on a PS Pro it actually runs in 60FPS. I was hella shocked to see this when I randomly booted it up a couple months ago and proceeded to do a whole new playthrough just for that. Looks hella clean.
I wish Bloodborne was the same way.
Scholar of The First Sin benefitted so much from the jump to 60FPS (besides the weapon glitch of course) in just a visual sense. It’d be dope to see Bloodborne like that too.
