Happy Halloween nerds.
Also I loved that Medievil trailer. One of my favorite psone titles and I played the shit out of the psp remake. Can’t wait to play this remake as well

Looking rough. It’s basically himself with a bad wig
Undertale creator releases follow up game called Delta Rune
I could only imagine , haha.
The bosses in general kick my ass to the point where I can run through the entire section not getting hit, while taking everything out, but then I get creased by the boss(es) over, and over, and over and over etc.
I’ll try the Shadows off Yhranam when the weekend hits.
Classic costume on Claire just looks off without her having reddish hair.
Miss me some HotD…
Aww shit. I wanted to get the physical release of the Bulletstorm re-release but this will do for now. Imma playthrough the game as Duke.
If you’ve never played a Yakuza game before you’re in for a treat. The stance system makes the combat so goddamn fun.
Is this your first Souls game? I found BB to be easiest of all the Souls games. You have that huge window to recover health after a hit by leeching life from your enemies, and on top of this, you should be swimming in ~20 health items at pretty much all times. You can always back off and heal for literally every boss fight.
If you’re at the area fighting those giant boar things you can level grind like crazy there as well if you’re still finding it tough.
BB can be easy-ish if you use the Hunter’s Axe or Saw Cleaver cause they are kinda borked. The DLC helps alleviate that though
Then nothing of value will be lost. I wish Toys R Us was still around. They also did B2G1 around this time.
On another side, my kid will be 4 in Jan, is a 3DS still a thing, or should I get a Switch for XMAS. Are there still a lot of girly shovelware games? I haven’t paid attention to Ninty in about 10 years…basically since I stopped working at Gamestop, and therefore stopped needing to.
I would buy a mini controller for my 360, which is basically her youtube machine now anyway, and check out some indies, but for some reason, I feel like the handheld aspect of Not docked Switch or 3DS will do better, plus they’ll likely have the preferred games, IP’s or type of games.
Extra
Target has always done B2G1. Have they stopped?
My son turns 4 in March and there’s no chance in hell I’d let him handle my Switch in handheld mode, unless it’s with me supervising him. It’s a lot more delicate than a 3Ds is. Those things are basically made to be abused and to be handled by little kids.
2DS.
Cheaper even, in the inevitable eventuality he accidentally breaks it.
The 2DS is eminently practical.
I echo jabs opinion on getting the offspring a 2DS. It’s a good, cheap system and durable. Perfect for kids first console. Plus the library for the 3ds is amazing (and can play original ds games). When I worked at GameStop I always recommended it to parents who wanted to get their kid into gaming.
Target is currently having a B2G1. He wished TRU was still around because Target’s B2G1 excludes Red Dead 2.
3DS is still going but it’s on its death bed. I don’t know if Ubisoft ever made their girly shovelware games for it. Barring that any of Nintendo’s first party stuff should fare well. There’s 3 Kirby games on the system and they are great for children.
Season 3 of Castlevanis is coming
First Soulsborne game.
Every time I would go to heal BAM get caught in a grab/pounded into ground/slashed to bits , just demolished lol. Even tried running away and that would sometimes-sorta help but as soon as I’d try to mount an offensive or counter-attack it wasn’t happening. I’d have 20 blood viles, and go through them all. Blood Starved Beast thingie and Amelia definitely weren’t having it, haha. Apparently I was way underpowered though.
Eventually I would just roll up with whatever I had, even no health items and try to get the pattern downs for a sorta-no-hit-run type of rule.
I remember having Father Gascgione(sp) down to one more hit, thought I was good for two hits (no health items) ended up trading hits, my life bar sank, he had the magic pixel. All good though.
I use the Saw Cleaver, almost exclusively with Ludwigs Blade or Kirkhammer as a secondary. Kirkhammer is that chunky goodness.
Ah, I didn’t know 3DS/2DS had BC. Like how they removed GBA BC in some version of the DS IIRC. In that case all the DS shovelware would be a go. Perfect system to get, and looks like they are 60-70 bucks?
Well, shit that decision is made.
And more RPGs than you can shake a stylus at.
Numerous great platforms, too.
The nub makes KI:Uprising a treat for southpaws.
But I enjoy playing it more on my Normal re: Limited Run, smaller, N3DS, than on my N3DS XL.
Something about the form factor makes it work better.
But for everything else, barring portability, the XL is superior.
