Video Game General 6.3: Sekiro has so many damn chickens man. Chickens Everywhere!

Just backing you up man. Just re-read my post. Guess it didn’t come off that way. Sorry dude.

Not gonna lie I slightly misread your post too. Don’t know why I read the last part that way

If you are anything like me you are constantly multitasking and never doing one thing at a time. It’s why I like going the movies. Forces me to focus on one thing.

Nah man, not even a dlc code. They come with steel cases but no disc or dlc code. It’s just merchandising but using corporate and marketing bs to get around them not packing the game (in any form).

I saw some vids on it. I’ll link it later.

@purbeast

This is the video I came across. He gave more examples of it where I thought it was MvC:I and an EA game.

I’m about 1/2 way through FOTNS. It’s pretty fun but I don’t give a shit about 95% of the open-world activities you can do. The hostess bullshit is literally 1:1 the same as it was in the Yakuza games and I didn’t enjoy them there either.

You eventually get a car and can traverse outside of the main cities but the world is empty as hell and is not exactly all that fun to drive around in. Think RAGE but with worse car handling mechanics and even less going on in the open world.

The combat is fun though and is what has kept me playing. I played Burnout Paraidse: Remastered for a few hours and I almost unlocked the last license upgrade you get in a crazy short amount of time. I might Platinum this one again. I also missed out on ALL of the DLC for the game outside of the free motorcycle themed one so that will be new to me once I start it.

Cracking out on Path of Exile again too. :sunglasses:

You don’t agree that the release was split 50/50 between physical and digital? Wutlol. That was the point of my original post RSG with how these releases are literally 50% physical and 50% digital. Again, they can always toss in another cart or disc but they choose not to.

I’d take having both games on two discs or on two cartridges over 1 cart+a download voucher, or half the game on a disc and another half you have to download digitally. I seriously can’t believe they didn’t toss in install discs with RDR/COD’s release.

why am i only finding out about this game now?

Had the urge to fire up Bloodborne again- bought the DLC a while back when it finally went on sale and hadn’t played it yet. Started a new playthrough and man I love the atmosphere in this game. The art style, sound design, music, Lovecraft meets Victorian era world, and the tense gameplay make for the most fucking grim experience I can recall. Seriously, listen to this shit:

I saw it the other day and it looked interesting. The hook in this game is that you get weaker as you progress as opposed to the opposite. I’ll check it out at some point.

Back on Nier:Automata. I only completed 2B’s route and just now beat Adam on 9S’s portion. Are there missable side quests? I have two save files, one for 2B and one for 9S. I figure I’ll try the side quests more with 9S, but thought about starting up the 2B save file (last boss) and was wondering if I could go back and look for side quests. My completion rate on the 2B file was 5%.

The short answer is no, there are no permanently missable side quests. If you do miss some, it may be a while before you can access it again, depending, but you will be able to eventually

Ok cool. I think I’ll finish out the 9S storyline and continue from there.

at a certain point in the game, you get a chapeter select. thats what he means. my recommendations is that you level up the best weapons.
like yorha blade, iron pipe, and for 9S get spear of the usurper.
if your lucky level up one of your pods. and get a few good diamond chips like counter, overclock, continuous combo, auto heal, anti-chain., evasive system, auto collect, and item scan.

and do not use plug in chip exp up. trust me itll ruin the game for you. leave it for post post game if you want.

Yeah I’m on the double goliath fight after running errands for Pascal and forgot that these fights can take a minute, lol. I’m gonna focus on upgrades after this. I didn’t too much with 2B initially either.

Kinda the problem was going ham last Black Friday. Didn’t get to give it the attention I would have otherwise. Really enjoy the 9S hacking. The opera singer was a lot harder this way.

Wargroove update, delayed into next year

Medieval news is coming in a week or 2

Wasn’t wargroove supposed to be a launch title for the switch? Geez. It just keeps getting pushed further and further back.

Medievil news makes me happy. <3

Spiderman fighting a Magikarp…definitely not something I was expecting.

This review is painful. I kept rolling my eyes at how he kept referring to Dark Souls and it’s ilk as it’s own genre.
