What if it’s a case of evolve/devolve? AI evloved to the point where the dominant form of life was mechanical and not flesh based at all? Meanwhile everything else was replaced/taken over/devolved back to it’s primal stages. To me it just means that whatever took over has rooted itself that deep enough to replace animals.
Could be crazy talk though.
Resident evil vii trailer/demo was underwhelming, I don’t recognize anything that reminds me of resident evil, nothing that gets me hype if the have finally made it a FPS I may as well call this series dead.

Phew, I feel a lot better today. Apparently my body couldn’t handle that amount of hype. I don’t even think I was that hype when Dark Souls 3 was announced. That was the best E3 I’ve watched in YEARS just because of how good that Spidey game looks. I’ve been watching the trailer over, and over, and over again…
ITS INVADING MY EVERY WAKING THOUGHT, AT LEAST GIVE US A RELEASE DATE INSOMNIAC YOU MONSTERS.
I do wanna analyze a few things though.
In the 616? Actually…it kinda does.
If we’re being real, I don’t really care for the color of his Spider-Emblem in the game either. It doesn’t really bother me that much though considering we all know you’ll get to select from a bunch of his different costumes. The suit itself draws inspiration from…a bunch of different Spidey suits, actually. The colors and patterns are made after the costume he had in Civil War, the color of the emblem made after his 616 suit, the shape of the emblem comes from the live action movies with Andrew Garfield…it’s going in a lot of different directions all at the same time. I honestly like it, but the contrast of the spider emblem brings it down a notch for me.
It also seems like nobody took notice of the enemies he’s fighting in the trailer…because they are very, VERY obviously Mr.Negative’s henchmen.
Very interesting choice for this game’s villain, or at least one of them. He’s always been one of my favorite Spidey-Nemesis. I wonder if he’ll be the main antagonist in the new movie…
Dont get me wrong, in game is always better than some cinematic trailer but devs are playing with gamers intelligence they way they show off the “set piece” segments that give the impression that the entire game is going to have a real world dynamic flow when in actuality its just a big scripted piece.
Uncharted does this and its annoying.
I highly down the parts with spiderman going through the coffee shop and atop a burning train are just free form segments. Which isnt a complaint, but its not really “in game” if you are just showing a scripted scene with in game engine. Thats kinda dirty.
I’ll let this ride for about 10 minutes before I ruin it for you Beta.
