Pretty much this. VR makes the most sense in 1st person where it adds to the expereince the most.
I think that’s whats gonna make VR successful getting off the ground. The fact that it expands on an already existing genre of games. With motion controls it was the same thing, only your forced to get accustomed to different feeling hardware. With VR you put it on and get even more immersed if it’s your thing.
The biggest issue atm with VR is hardware. Which is also the opposite of motion where it was mainly software. You need a stable framerate (round 60+) for VR to start working really good. Just my two cents doe. I need to try it first.
