Eh, saw some interesting stuff. I’m pleased. Paper Mario x Mario and Luigi reminds me I need to play the Mario and Luigi games still.
That said, Nintendo’s was much worse than last years, though understandable considering how much they dropped on that one. Probably don’t have as many big titles in the works atm so there wasn’t as much to show.
Apparently Platinum is also working on a full game based on the Project Guard Wii U prototype from last years E3.

Nintendo didn’t even show new Devil’s Third footage. They could have saved that last direct footage for E3 instead but whatever.
Squarenix’s stuff has been really meh so far.

Wow nothing on XV, no coverage of DQ Heroes or porting over DQ7 or 8 3DS over, no kingdom hearts release date. Pretty disappointing all around.
I mean I got see a lot of stuff about games I’ve never played or cared about, so that’s cool I guess?
The only things that made me go “oh cool!” Were the kingdom hearts mobile and the new kh gameplay. World of Final Fantasy looks really cute until the kids transform. Their designs are terrible.
E3 was pretty great across the board. Feels good to be Idort omniscient race.

I wouldn’t call the conference garbage but Nintendo has info and games coming out this holiday season that they didn’t even bother showing. WHY NOT TELL US PLATINUM IS WORKING ON STARFOX? Where the fuck was Devil’s Third? Fatal Frame? I appreciate the surprise Zelda and double Mario RPG game but why are they holding back info on stuff?
