Thank you Nintendo, that is the exact Metroid game I was hoping you’d announce.
Ouch! That was painful. Like Nintendo at E3 '08 painful. The thing is, they’ve launched their bun guns already. Smash 4, Mario Kart 8 and OF COURSE they focused on Super Mario Maker, but man. Starfox doesn’t look too good and will probably control terribly.
I immediately thought of this when Miyamoto started talking about gyro controls.
Also that Metroid game was a JOKE. What’s so hard about making a new 2D Metroid game on either platform with the “top” screen for action and the bottom screen for the map with shiny HD graphics and twice the size of Super Metroid? Wow, Nintendo.

Game Director for Just Cause 3 takes the stage. Will be launching globally Dec. 1st. Now they’re moving into a gameplay trailer. Guy just backed a car out of a plane, lept out of it, and the car exploded on a building below. Talking about the story of the game now. Grapple hook is updated…can tether multiple ones…can kinda of have have it pull things toward each other now. Parachute is now more stable. Wingsuit allows him to feel like he’s flying. Everything is Michael Bay in this game.
Yusuke Saito takes the stage…and now he’s going to introduce a new title. OH SHIT…A PLATINUM GAMES GAME? AND SQUARE ENIX!? WTF IS THIS!? Mostly showing artwork and concept art right now…Game appears to be another installment of Nier. Now we’re getting some CG> More info coming Fall 2015…exclusive to PS4. Production has only just started on the game. Inaba and Taro will be working on this game. Yoko takes the stage wearing helmet with the shape of a character from Nier. Now we’re moving into Rise of the Tomb Raider. Pretty sure we saw this trailer at Microsoft’s conference. Brian Horton now takes the podium to talk about the game. Going to show a behind the scenes look into the game now. Now we’re seeing bits of how the game was made in a vid.

Shinji Hashimoto takes the stage who was the producer of Kingdom Hearts 3. Umm…the translator is not translating for him >.>. maybe the mobile section put him to sleep? They’re replaying the Final Fantasy VII remake trailer from last night. Hashimoto kept rolling like a G even though nobody was translating for him lol. More info coming near the end of the year supposedly. So…they’re still doing the PC version of Final Fantasy VII is coming this winter to PS4 (…Why?) it’s also coming to ios.
TROLLED…people were getting excited for a new Kingdom Hearts trailer only to discover that the game i KH game for ios. People in the crowd were getting HYPE. Game is called Kingdom Hearts Unchained. very light clapping.
Ok NOW…He’s gonna talk about KH III. someone in the crowd screamed ‘THANK YOU HASHIMOTO!’. Dude does look like Xeanort (Sp?) in this vid. So looks like Tangled is one of the worlds in KH III. STOP DELAYING HASHIMOTO…PLAY THE DAMN VID. Ok they’re playing it now. Oh shit…they’ve already started english dubbing this? Game look gorgeous. So colorful…and WAAAYY more open. Showcasing the keyblades morphing into guns…looks like sora can summon disney amusement rides. I know they cut the feed on the audience but I keep thinking I’m hearing them. Hashimoto going into talking about World of Final Fantasy. Replaying the same trailer that was shown last night. Director of the game is Hiroki Chiba. He takes the stage and talks about the game.
Now we’re moving into the Hitman reboot. Game will be updated constantly based on player feedback. There will be targets that if you don’t kill they will be gone forever. Game supposedly will never stop having things to do. Now first gameplay footage is about to be shown. In gameplay graphics are pretty solid…this vid talks about one of Hitman’s hit. Can tackle contracts freely, become part of the crew, some people may be more perceptive than others. Hitman can outright blatantly kill him in the open violently, poison the target, Snipe…trailer also talks about targets only showing up for a limited amount of time. New areas will be made available throughout the game’s life. Dec. 8th.

Rolling into a new project with Tri-Ace…looks like they’re about to show the new Star Ocean. Vid talking about the Star Ocean timeline. Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. Kobayashi takes the stage…confirms its coming to the PS4…must be exclusive. And now they’re gonna actually show gameplay footage of the game. Big open world stuff being shown…towns and your party trailing behind you as you run. combat takes place on the field. Showing how each character fights. Game is coming to NA and EU in 2016. Game is going to have both Static cutscenes and Dynamic events…trying to get away from JRPG’s being movies is what the Kobayashi says. The game is aiming to run at 60fps despite the trailer being captured at 30fps.
Looks like they’re moving into Deus Ex Mankind now. Narrative Director now takes the stage. Lady takes the stage and now talks about the story of the game…Game is going through an apartheid and people with augmentations are living in ghettos. Alright moving into the first gameplay trailer. Game looks very detailed…lots of blue and orange hues. Looks like Human Revolution but waaay waaay better. EXPLOSIONS…GUNS! Game will be out Early 2016.
Matsuda takes the stage and is talking English. He’s introducing Final Fantasy Portable App… One last game they want to show. Leading into it talking about Square Enix’s history with RPGs. It’s a New RPG Product being done by a new studio. New studio is called Tokyo RPG Factory. Now they’re showing concept art for this new game. It’s a completely new series…and isn’t a spin off of anything. For now it’s called Project Setsuna. Can’t talk too much about it but it’s under development. Looks like they’re closing this up…everyone’s going on stage and we’re getting the closing montage.

But overall Nintendo presentation was kinda garbage. They eat up too much time with dev stories and etc. And literally shoved in FE, and SMTXFE, and Xeno for like 10 seconds just focus on all that fucking Mario shit.
