Man, those guys at IGN are annoying as hell, because they can’t seem to get through one sentence without making some stupid puns or some other joke nonsense. Right now for the Pre-PS4 Showing, trying to watch through them is absolutely horrendous. I just want to actually HEAR about the games they’re talking about without any stupidity going on, kind of like a more professional outlook on it instead of what I’m seeing.
Alright 1 minute until Sony’s conference guys! This post is the one I’ll update for those who can’t watch.
If Final Fantasy VII remake actually shows up during this conference…I’m gonna flip my shit. I’m not gonna hold my breath though. Also moment of truth for some of you pony betters! Here we go!
Ok…conference is starting with an opening montage of various games.
Shawn Layden comes out and welcomes everyone and begins his opening intro. First game…FIRST FUCKING GAME IS THE LAST GUARDIAN I’M BETTING IT. IT IS! THE LAST GUARDIAN HAS ACTUALLY SHOWN UP! We’re getting gameplay footage now of the game. He’s summoned the puppy gryphon…game still looks pretty good. Feather on the creature look great and now we’re doing a bit of platforming with it. Child made a leap of faith across the chasm and the creature caught him by the shirt. Very interesting partner system with this creature in terms of calling it and telling it to do things. Kid is in trouble and he has to make a jump and trust the creature to catch him and he missed but managed to catch his tail. PHEW…kid is hanging onto the tail for dear life and is now climbing him like in Shadow of the Colossus to get to his head and jump off. Both the kid and the creature will have to help each other make it through obstacles. It’s coming 2016 of course for PS4.
Shuhei Yoshida is now out on stage. Ueda being given props and he’s actually in the crowd.
New game being introduced from Guerrila Games. Going into the new game with ingame footage captured from the PS4. Looks like someones in a kinda dark cave now showing off environments…looks like it’s post apocalyptic. Looks like humans have regressed back to tribal times with some of the past world being a relic. Looks like machines are the threat in this game…come in various sizes…some are very beast like. She was hunting some of them and one of the big hulking beasts spotted her. She’s not going into battle with a bow and arrow with it. She broke off a huge chunk and used it as a weapon against it. This game looks very interesting. Now she’s tying it down and trying to get it to be still so she can kill it which she succeeds in doing so. Game is called Horizon: Zero Dawn…pretty impressive imo.
Going right into another game that has Square Enix and Io interactive in it. Hitman maybe? yeah…it’s a new Hitman. Mostly consisting of a CG trailer of him running through a snow covered woods. Looks like it’s just being called Hitman. A reboot perhaps? A man of Indian descent has come out (I’m not gonna butcher his name) and he’s now talking more about Hitman. You’ll be able to beta test it when you preorder the game. 6 exclusive contracts for PS4 gamers.
Going into a console exclusive…it’s Street Fighter V. Birdie and Cammy are confirmed. Dat Cammy Super. Beta started July 25th.
Going into No Man’s Sky now. Being a part of a random space battle…and now showing part of the solar system. He’s pulling the map all the way out to show the universe…GOOD…JESUS GOD…You can warp to any one of the solar systems that you see. Some of the planets that you see in the universe will probably never be visited. Going down to a planet surface now. ‘Planet E3’…now he’s scanning for alien life and he’s found non…every planet is fully destructible. Every planet has sentinals that protect the planets from explorers. Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe this game…
Going into the next game…It’s Media Molecule’s new game called Dreams. Guy on stage is talking about the game…looks interesting. After creating your world you can grab stuff and puppeteer it. This is definitely something for creative people. This is going to be really hard to describe to people how it works…looks interesting nontheless though.
Now we’re going into some gameplay footage of FireWatch.

Ok going into another game…now. Looks like it’s a trailer for Batman Arkham Knight. Joker’s body is getting roasted. Gordon is talking about how Batman dies. Looks like an ingame trailer for the game…Looks pretty good. Looks like this might be the beginning of the game and how it plays out maybe? Cop is about to have a really bad fucking day. Scratch that…he’s definitely having a bad day.
Ok now we’re going into their VR stuff with Project Morpheus. Has a game made by Guerrilla cambridge called Rigs. FPS 3 on 3.
Now House is talking about various Playstation apps and features including Playstation Vue.
Yyyyup…CoD Black Ops III is on the Sony marketing budget. Now showing CoD campaign gameplay. they’re in a downed aircraft with some bodies here and there…things are on fire. Looks like the pilot is impaled and the half of the aircraft was teetering. 4 player co-op campaign online. Guns and explosions everywhere. Seems to be showing abilities these guys can do…now the gameplay is done and they’re showing an ending trailer for the game. Now they have a guy on stage from Treyarch to talk about the multiplayer of CoD. Going right into a multiplayer trailer…sure is Titanfall in here with the wall running >.>. One of them was wearing a suite that looked a lot like Master Chief’s… Playstation owners will get the maps for Blops 3 and get the Beta first.

Rolling right into Disney Infinity 3.0. Playstation is getting an exclusive bundle for Disney Infinity 3.0. Now we’re getting a trailer for the Rise Against the Empire playset. Boba Fett will be limited exclusive to that playstation bundle.
Now we’re going into Battlefront. Now we’re going into more gameplay footage of the game. Lasers, explosions, jet bikes, AT STs…IT’S PANDEMONIUM.
Almost at the end of the show here…I’m going to make a guess that the last game is gonna be God of War IV. Nope…I’m wrong it’s Uncharted 4. Getting another gameplay demo of the game. Taking a look at the crowd…umm…I think he’s having technical difficulties…So they just restarted it. lol. Alright things are working now. He’s making his way through the crowded streets and following Sully. Doesn’t take long for shit to start going down. Place is a warzone…looks like the environment might be a bit more destructible Drake is mowing down people all over the place. Drake gets grabbed from behind and almost gets mugged by 2 people but Sully saves him. They leap into a Jeep and take off. These guys shooting at them are everywhere. They’re trying to get away from the truck with the turret on the top and causing quite a mess in the process. They drove on some rooftops for a moment. They’re trying to catch up to convoy…and it looks like they finally lost the truck and Drake does something pretty crazy. It ends right before he was gonna end up plowing through an obstruction.
And that’s the end of the conference.

Well, this is surprising… I considered that game to be an ongoing practical joke a LONG time ago… are they actually going to release it… haha this Last Guardian shit is actually real? Nah, watch the end of the trailer just says something vague like “COMING SOON.” Soon like 2074.

It’s a long-awaited sequel to “ICO” and "Shadow of the Colossus: on the PS2. They originally unveiled it at like E3 '09 for PS THREE, but for the longest, there had been no new developments, causing many to believe that the game was unofficially cancelled (kinda like Tekken X Street Fighter).
This is the first we’ve heard of it in YEARS, so it’s VERY SUPRISING to see gameplay today and it looks to have moved over to PS4. I personally never understood the appeal behind the game, but I never played the originals. That said, it’s really nice to see devs giving people what they want.

And after all this time, I still can’t tell what type of game The Last Guardian is supposed to be. It seems a lot like Journey to me. I really liked Journey, but I can’t imagine that the mainstream gaming audience would get this hype over a game like that, so there must be something more to it.
I am still waiting for Alex in SF 5, no Alex no buy.
