Transformers was a cool game, but it wasn’t anything that would’ve made it in the VGA’s (not that that show is such a prestigious thing to be invited to). I could’ve told you that the day they announced it.
If you’re making an awards show that recognizes the devs and publishers that do shit right, then a nomination is certainly warranted, especially in this current gaming climate of unfinished shit making it onto shelves.
A nomination says, “Hey, we see what you’re doing.” A win says, "You are the best at what you do."
That game deserves a nomination. No, not a win, but at least a nom for doing its job and doing well.
But we all know that’s not how this shit works.
Awards aren’t for people who just “do their job,” but for people who are supremely exceptional at that job.

Splatoon is phenomenal. As much as I don’t mind not having it the biggest thing holding it back is lack of voice chat with your team mates. It would be the perfect co-op shooter to me if it did. I remember when It first came out I played for about 14 hours straight.

Smash won back in 2014. Which is the year it came out. This is a 2015 games award show.
How is this not important?
Awards through the awards in confusion. What is best impact and what’s it suppose to mean? Why the fuck are sports and racing the same award? Fighting game releases must have been shallow this year for Rise of Incarnates to be nominated seeing as the game got shut down a while back.
