Wow…n will show a better partnership with 3rd parties? So…what, they got more companies to agree to do ONE great game apiece, to lure people in to buying a wiiu JUST for said exclusive, then no more games until the next console drops, or never, if gamers truly love the first offering?
That’s pretty much been their M.O. for the last few generations. We can expect a 4k remaster version of those “exclusive” 3rd party games on competitor consoles in about 12 years.
Now that’s what I’m talking about. Fuck yes! First Square announce a few dozen titles coming to PC, Tales of Zestiria drops this fall, and now Toukiden in less than a month!? Keep 'em coming Japan, let the PC master race embrace you.
Tk really ain’t all that. Boring as hell compared to Soul Sacrifice Delta. Might be interesting if the monsters responded to the damage they take, but the damage doesn’t make them flinch, stun them, or even slow them down. The Ss Delta version of Toukiden’s Chthonian Fiend was better than in the very game that spawned him. He loses his tail, and DRASTICALLY changes his attacks, movement speed, and stance.
My points was more and more eastern developers are porting their games to the PC even though the PC market in Japan hasn’t been all that in years. The awareness is growing. I remember just a few years ago no one in the east actually knew about Steam or its purpose. The awareness is constantly growing, interest in the PC market has risen even for companies like Nintendo, and Microsoft is returning once their newest Windows OS drops.
As for the game, I don’t own a Vita, so I’ve never played it. It looks like a Monster Hunter clone and I see no problems with that since no Monster Hunter game exist (in the West) for the PC. There’s also character customization which is one of my favorite features in any game, and a huge variety of weapons. I’ll definitely be giving it a try late June.
