Someone on the SFV board suggested that SFV probably was suppose to be a new Darkstalkers game. It has a greater emphasis on strings and juggles, V-triggers (Darkforce) and every character having their own mechanic with V-Skill. Since that Darkstalkers collection didn’t do so hot they scrapped it and made it SFV.
SF5 art and sound effects are on point, and I really like the concept of elemental modes reminds me of N-groove from CVS2 or HD mode from KOF. I don’t like that it looks as juggle heavy as SF4, I’ve always felt SF4 injected too much mahvel into it’s veins.
Xbone enjoyed the throne for 1 month before getting kicked off again by the PS4. Xbone’s sales are still up 81% over last May.
Witcher 3 took the top of the charts followed by Mortal Kombat X. The rest went GTA V, Minecraft, Splatoon, Cod: AW, NBA 2K15, Fifa 15, MLB 15, and Smash Wii U/3DS. Happy that Splatoon charted…hopefully it becomes a million seller so they aren’t afraid to do another new big IP.
