You don’t want the PS2 versions. If you’re not a collector, they’re objectively worth less because the remastered versions have way more value. KH 1.5 comes packaged with KH: Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, and the scenes from 358/2 Days. 2.5 has KHII: Final Mix, BBS: Final Mix, and The scenes from Re:Coded.
Those were cool. I don’t think they have the tag specials in Ultimate, but they did add more characters and general gameplay upgrades. Definitely not super balanced though.
Well I already have the PS2 KH games from back when the games first came out.
I felt it didn’t hurt to look up the value of the PS3 games compared to their PS2 counter parts.
If you really don’t care about having the PS2 games complete in box, the PS3 games have more value while the used copies with case or manual missing going for cheap.
You are right, the actual nicer condition copies of the PS2 games and how they are priced are really only for collectors at this point at time. I think if you are a collector and you want sealed copies, now is the time.
I seen a sealed copy of KH II for $24. Link
Anyone else who haven’t played the series and want to get in I suggest the PS3 versions. Only other reason to get the PS2 versions over the HD remix is you own a PS2 and not a PS3 and you are poor on a strict budget.
That Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst teaser finally crystallized that this is real and happening, Gamescom has a super beefy line up including the hard hitters Scalebound and Quantum Break, but playable ME…oh yeah this game iwll steal the show.
Also on this KH talk idk how niggas really praise Days. The story is doo doo, gameplay is doo doo, and that shit does nothing to get Roxas the fan love he gets. The last little arc was aight but overall trash.
I still got KH 3D to start, but my hype for KH has long been dead, idk if it’s due to delay of 3 for so long or i just moved on from it. Not in the “i grew outta it sense” but as in i don’t really give a shit anymore lol
In some unfortunately alternate universe where the PS Vita was the big commercial success it should’ve been (with other companies aiming to make dedicated portable gaming devices, trying to compete with it…)—I would be looking forward to playing Galak-Z on a lunch break at work today…in addition to a long list of other Vita games…
Gears-- I suppose using my Gears 3 disc might be better than using Ultimate’s “bonus download”, since I’m assuming the unlocks and save file would transfer over…? The ridiculous grind for certain things might actually be my only complaint about Gears 3. It had sooo much entertainment value going on there… I am forever entertained by Horde mode, even though the folks I played with all moved on from it, sadly… then there was that DLC where you could play General RAAM himself… there was the satisfying conclusion of the story mode… the surprisingly emotional moments in there… and of course the action…like a thrilling amusement park ride or action movie where you are the star, and I wanted it to NEVER end…the CONTENT and entertainment value—this is what it’s all about, folks.
Galak-Z is that the space shooter that it’s loading screens are done in the style of the Commercial breaks on Saturday Morning Cartoons, and the whole game has this late 70s early 80s Anime feel to it?
I glad it doesn’t, with how fast people are already filling up their HDD space with game installs, and then getting an external for the XB1.
How long does it take to full a external 4TB HDD with 1080p episodes of Game of Thrones, Dr Who and The Price is Right. Especially when the same HDD already have your whole Game library installed on it.
Don’t get me wrong. I simply don’t watch actual TV anymore. Anything I want to watch is ether on Netflix or similar service or I will wait for the next DVD box set like in case of Game of Thrones.
My HDTV been relegated to more of a HD Monitor with multiple inputs than a actual TV. So the TV viewing feature of the Xbox One is lost on me.
Even if I did watch TV, I find watching it though my Game console is kinda redundant. And if DVR is that important to me in the future I just build a cheap HTPC with a video capture card.
