I’m looking at gameplay footage of Devil’s Third since I didn’t really know anything about the game. Granted the footage I’m looking at is from a year ago, but the base game looks rather choppy and unfocused (it’s a cover-based TPS and a hack-and-slash but doesn’t commit to either genre enough to make good use of their mechanics) and it’s aesthetically lifeless and bland. It’s very possible that NOA isn’t publishing it because the game is ass, and it’s not in a position where the Wii U’s install base would buy it despite being ass.
I actually like the configuration of Kens hair. It looks good on him. What doesn’t look good is how plastic it looks and the way each bunch of hair moves as if one solid piece, which does a lot to make it look like plastic in the first place.
Honestly that’s my only complaint about the visuals of SFV so far, everyone looks like a PVC figure that can move really fluidly.
Least it doesn’t look like a shitty, lifeless, unmoving, yellow football helmet like it did in 4. Kens model looked like crap in SF4, V’s is a big ass improvement imo.
