I finished Strider 2014 yesterday and damn that shit was too fun. I hope Capcom and other companies dig up some old IPs that can still flourish today as a decent $15-$20 titles like this one did and realize that Strider is fine as it is, and didn’t need a mass budget and bloated marketing to still be a fun, reasonably priced game.
Seriously.
I’d have to buy a PS4 first.
And for the record, I’ve only been overly critical of SFV’s TERRIBLE ASS MUSIC, and the return of those stupid inkblot effects.
Gameplay actually looks solid.

Yea looks more like he has a downward traveling Tatsu then a dive kick, but it could very well be a late air tatsu. Really can’t tell from the trailer.

I thought it might have been a pissed off E. Honda at first glance, due to the face-paint…but his face-paint is a lot different, among other things. And I don’t think it’s Akuma either as the eyes aren’t glowing red.
