God Bless your Android Soul… Super Metroid is one of, if not THE greatest platformers of all time. If there is a game with a more perfect pace, I have yet to see it.

The dissonance in this music sounds intentional. It’s actually pretty advanced to make something this atonal. Stage one of a superhero game is a very weird placement for this type of composition, though.
Oh yes Demon’s Crest the 3rd game in the series following Gargoyle’s Quest and Gargoyle’s Quest II.
And a spin off series from Ghost and Goblins starting Red Arremer one of Ghost and Goblin’s enemies.
And honestly the Nintendo Virtual Console trailer does not do the game justice.
