DmC2

I think Capcom caught wind of the intense amount of rage DmC caused.

I dont even think those gusy want to make a DmC the way people destroyed their social media pages.

I bought DmC used just so I could beat it and get the achievements and see how bad it was, then returned it and got full price back.

I want…

Evolution 3
Star Winder 2

Mother 4

Soul calibur 6 with Devil Jin properly added as a character.

This thread is funny in that there are a lot of games that are begging to be made and yet companies continue to dick around not capitalizing off the actual demand for tried and true series. I wonder if Japanese developers even collect data from the internet.

Most series are left to dry because they sold like shit when they were around or the creators just finished the story/feel that they took the series as far as it can go.

  1. Valkyrie Profile 3
  2. A new Ogre Battle
  3. Suikoden 6
  4. The next game in the Zero Escape series (it’s currently on indefinite hold)
  5. Zelda U
  6. A new Rival Schools
  7. Dragon Quest XI (currently rumored to exist)

Most japenese developers/publishers especially the big ones are stubborn they dont care about consumer input as much as American companies which is why theyre in the position theyre cureently in. Generally they have a top down process as in they come up with an interesting character, fleshing him/her out and then figure out what kind of game to design around said character.

The create your own game/open world/crafting modern trends are largely a result of the cultural American emphasis on individual freedom of choice.

Or it could be the dust of a phantom in X1’s case…

http://gamingeverything.com/microsoft-registers-new-phantom-dust-trademark/

Isn’t Platinum (or Kamiya specifically) licensed for something for the X1…

Interesting…

You think Project Nagano is a Phantom Dust sequel? I wouldn’t mind as I played the hell out of that awesome game, too bad almost no one else did, it was hard to find a match on XBL.

If Project Nagano ends up being a Bayonetta-esque game I expect Po Pimpus to be considerate enough to upload his suicide online for us to remember him in gif format, with Kaz Hirai’s head plastered onto his, and the sword he pierces into his chest to be labeled Xbone.

[s]Microsoft registers new “Phantom Dust” trademark

Also posted in the Xbox thread.

Dunno how many mainstream gamers would be fazed by this news, but hot damn if MS isn’t really gunning for the hardcore audience. I know there are some peeps from the old 360 thread that would praise this game to the moon.[/s]

Derp, too slow :stuck_out_tongue:

Historically speaking, niche titles or anything that appeals to “core” gamers end up with mediocre sales when released on the Xbox.

JSRF? Has a fan following the grew over the years. The game performed poorly until it was included with bundles.

Actually, anything Sega put out got snubbed.

The same thing was seen during the 360 years; the niche and “hardcore” titles stopped arriving on the doorstep.

They would be better off releasing the Phantom Dust sequel on the PC.

Come on guys, talking about E3 rumours and no mention of Half Life 3?

Valve doesn’t do E3 so there’s no point

Shit I would care about:

  1. Bioware becoming free of EA and making a new Mass Effect game based on someone else without “EA-ness”.

  2. Dragon Age 3

  3. Fallout 4

  4. Licensed car games

  5. Grand Theft Auto

  6. A real HD Zelda

  7. A new Metroid

Nothing else could make me care, and I dont see either of these things for the forseeable future. Must be a reason I havent tuned on a single game in 2+ months.
