@AKI
have to be honest with you tho ! I had kind of given up hope on the game since it was said that the game wouldn’t be shown
at E3. I guess i can be hopeful again now.
FFXV looked like the new Xenoblade on Wii U, but prettier. It looked a lot slower than the initial FFXV trailer as well.
Some friends said the combat looked like something from GTA V.
I did the same thing but rented CV since I already had it on Dreamcast.
Funny this how the Kamiya Flow Chart started for me. I know it started for most people with VJ, but for me it started with my friends reactions to DMC, haha.
I’ve never really been invested in FF15 since in my mind the FF franchise died after 10 and it’s corpse has been reanimated and twisted by black magic so this long delay hasn’t affected me.
That being said I love the game play and contrasting visual style, those graphics are serious, I’m definitely keeping my eye on FF15 now.
Gameplay looked a little better the second. time, which is still reminds me of Xenoblade X (sans mechs),which reminds me of Monster Hunter, which reminds me of Phantasy Star Online.
I like the road trip aspect of the trailer though, and the monsters look awesome.
The new Bloodborne trailer gave me goosebumps though. Has co-OP as well. I really love the connect/disconnect animations for the weapon. My only complaint with this one is it does have some uncanny valley going on with the rag doll physics and clipping.
It’s far from the worst thing but things like that are more noticeable in this game than others. Especially when you see a bunch of blood gush, and there model doesn’t show damage (I know this makes me sound like one of those people…). Game still looks awesome, and the monster designs are gorgeous!
Yea I understand what you are saying, and honestly at first the rag doll bothered me in Demon’s/Dark Souls, it just seemed annoying and pointless, but then it really grew on me and gave the games some character and charm that others didn’t have, and once it was gone completely in Dark Souls 2 I found myself really really missing it. It add nothing to the games except personality, but it really works for them.
Sonic X Monster Hunter looks like some seriously wack ass shit
I can totally see that . It’s one of my favorite things about the MGS series, where it looks awesome and “grounded” but isn’t afraid that it’s a video game. Don’t have history with these games so it’s just something that stuck out when I see gameplay. Doesn’t come close to overshadowing the aesthetic in this game.
