On another subject, i decided to “buy” USF4 since my best frind actually likes SF4 and we don’t have too much commong games between us to play between us.
I accept DmC as it’s own game. I don’t really give a shit about the “integrity” it held towards the original 3 (or 4, I guess?) games because I’ve never beat any of them besides 4, so that probably influences my view of it in itself. -Shrug.-
This wasn’t really the point of my post, but I stand by my favor for the game. And while I’ve only actually finished one DMC game (besides the reboot) I don’t think I’d like it any less having played all the other ones.
The funniest thing about it is that it seems pretty much everyone here has the inability to understand that someone simply likes that game. As if it’s so unbelievable to see how someone could possibly find any good in it.
It may seem bias but honestly I see more bias in the people who curse the very name of the game every chance they get.

THAT right there was the final straw… after years of them phoning it in and teasing, Capcom had finally pissed me*(and a lot of other people)* right the fuck off with that stunt… Yeah, Capcom has done a bit of good over the years, but it is overshadowed by all the other fuckery they’ve pulled-- SFxT pay to win and DLC mishandling, the death of Clover, the burial of Mega Man, and the subsequent trolling of that franchise’s fans, and the absolute refusal to take any responsibility for their mistakes… The only things they get halfway right are RE, SF, Monster Hunter, and whatever Itsuno works on, and those first two are debatable.
Yeah, I think FUCK CAPCOM is very apt.
Well I didn’t know all that crap about him shitting on gamers collectively. Never even heard his name before today, but that shit is pretty retarded and had I known that before it might have even been enough to keep me from buying it just out of spite. 
Yet even still it wouldn’t reflect how I felt about the game itself. Even knowing this I still think it’s a fun game.
That whole situation sounds kind of similar to the shit that the creator of Fez pulled right before his game came out…
What gave you the idea I wasn’t a fan of DMC or Bayonetta? I love those games as much as anyone else here (except maybe @crotchpuncha who probbaly put hundreds of hours into copying truestyle videos lol). And to call God of War “dumbed down” is inaccurate as I’ve said before GoW never tried to be DMC, it’s not concerned with a complex combo system as much as it is with making you feel like a badass angry God and tell a unique twist on conventional greek tragedy. Yes both games are similar in that they are both 3D action games, but they have two different aims, it’s like comparing Streets of Rage to Street Fighter.

When I go off about something(save for Generic Anime Swordsmen), there is usually a good reason for it… I have a strong sense of principle and am really protective of what I spend my money on, so yeah, I can come off really polarizing…
But I do what I do in the hopes that someone will at the very least think about where and to whom their money goes.

Shareholders are now considering a takeover (hostile or not) a thing, that means insert company of your choice can bankroll some dosh and buy up the majority shares in the same way Kadokawa bought up FromSoftware a month or two ago. You can already guess the shareholders are tired of Tsujimoto’s (senior) shit so they just don’t care anymore (hiring 100 developers a year? dis dude cray), this situation could go literally anywhere. At this point it is now safe to make bets on who will buy them within the next year(s) seeing how they’ve yet to fix their shit, Tecent had some dealings with Capcom recently making that China exclusive MMO plus they’re obscenely rich but I dunno, who would be a good candidate to buy Capcom and put them to work? hmm I wonder.
