it’s 11x17 tabloid, and use cardstock with 90lb gloss or something… and you have to print it out without the hole guides or you’re going to have extra.
so wait a minute its not a face plate hmmmm I thought capcom and mad catz was making a hardtop face plate like whats on there now … so whats on there now is more or less a sticker?? so did you have to undo the screws on top and put the art under the clear plastic or dose it just go over the art thats on there right now
yea i undid the 6 screws(#3 metric allen wrench), unscrew the balltop, disconnect the wires(make sure you remember what wire goes to w/e button), popout the buttons with a flathead screwdriver and you have to peel off the original artwork or you’re going to have some extra thickness after that i put the custom artwork on, place the plexi on top and then put the buttons on first so it will line up neatly. and tadaa you replaced your artwork on the te. never unscrew it from the bottom cause that’s the way you void your warranty.
I must say your looks dope you did a really clean job on it … have you done stuff like that in the passed or is that the first one you ever did ? So I just use super glossy photo paper and just print it out is that pretty much what you did and you say use 90lb gloss or better to print it out on . Well Im going down to Office max tomorrow and getting me the glossy paper I can find lol I want it super glossy so glossy you will need sun glasses on when your playing street fighter 4 lmao

And i found the artwork from the template thread. At first I was going to use Ryu, but decided to go with the full cast. You need photoshop to fix everything up.
This is the first time I actually did it. Madcatz made it so easy to customize your stick. What’s funny is i got my artwork, plexi, te stick all on the same day… how sweet is that? Yeah, I’m anal about everyting being perfect too. I didn’t mind spending money on it. With that $55(it doesn’t actually cost $55 total package is like $36-37) you can buy the plexi, artwork print and cut and have it shipped to you within 2 days. Art is actually in California so you’ll probably be able to get it in one day or so, he does local pickup also.
Thats just dope as hell Bro …seriously you surprised the hell out of me when I saw your pic on here I was like what … lol Because, I saw that print before in pictures around the net and just fell in love with the one you have done to yours … I want my TE stick done tonight (crying) lol thats not fair haha
haha, well yea just get art to do the printing for you. You just need to find your artwork on that thread and give it to him. I can do the editing if you need me to do it and i can send the link back you and you can email him the pics.

np and i meant “back to you” lol…it is a plastic hardtop and it easily peels off the te, i don’t know about the se. I like the te better, much easier to change the artwork, on the se you have to keep peeling it and reprinting
yeps that all you do, and you need these tools, the one on the far right is the one you need to use for the quick disconnect wires, sometimes they come out easily sometimes they dont, so pry it from the side of the wire and not the top.

actually you have to snd the picture to him from your email so he’ll know that it belongs to you. He’ll give the instructions. Just tell me what artwork you want and I’ll link it to you so you can download it and send it to him. Oh and if you’re not going to buy his plexi, i suggest telling him you want it lami-labeled So it will look oh so pro.

hhhrmm… i derno about VGC not fucking us around with our order. i believe they really did.
id really want to know how do they issue out their orders. i preordered mine in the beginning of January. i read in this forum that they have been issuing it out randomly which is absolutely poor business ethics. it would be even worst if they decide to fulfill all customers domestic orders first (cos it saves them money, and hoping international customers would cancel) before they ship internationally too, therefore i will be the one last orders to be completed.

OK. So I just was looking more into this photo and my paranoia sets in. It looks like the TE box is too big to fit in the VGC box. The portion of the VGC box showing makes it look like it could be a box for something else. Kiko…you don’t work for VGC do you? I hate this company with a passion so I might need another pic of the TE stick in the box.
Oh yea, I think I see some meatball sauce on the VGC box too.
The VGC box is SMALLER than the actual product’s box. I wonder how that is possible…
More proof that VGC sucks. Wii Alerts helped me start my PS3 TE set. Just got an order put in for my first PS3 TE and will buy a second when I have more “play” money to spend, LOL. VGC sucks so bad.
I preordered an SE on the 6th of april from VGC, thinking I was going to get it in the alotted time frame, but NO i didn’t I kept waiting for about 2-3 wks. So I thought of the time that the preorders before me were going to get there’s so i was like “Man, I’m not going to get mine till july or something. So I better cancel now”. Cause I really couldn’t wait that long. So I ordered a TE from ebay and got it within like freakin 3 days, the artwork I ordered even arrived with my stick together. That’s what I call fast and good customer service. If you have the product you should ship it right away, and if there are delays you should be notified and not be charged unless you have the product already man. WTF is up with that. I was charged for something they didn’t have on hand.
