well guys i cancelled my order with VGC about a week ago… i went on ebay, found a brand new, perfect condition SE for a couple bucks more than i woulda spent at VGC or anywhere else… but it comes in today… my wait for my stick is FINALLY over! now all i need is my parts from akihabara to come in… i ordered 4/4… and its still “processing”…

I then asked him … UUUH ok can you pls check your tracking numbers to see when they will come? According to the website the eta was 4/7? No update on the site?

Since when are they directly receiving shipments from MadCatz? I thought they were getting it from another distributor.

I talked to another guy in the customer service dept
He told me the sticks were shipped before 4/7 and that they would arrive this week, the next week or the week after. I called him on his b/s. He hanged up. Again i wasnt able to get a name.
Sorry guys i use to work for fed ex. It dosen’t take that long to ship such a massive order. If anything madcatz would give them a deal and ship them. These sticks would of been here long ago.
To the op: You sir are right it is time to cancel. Guys these Te sticks are not a limited edition type product anymore. Our best bet is to contact madcatz and speak to somebody. I will get information tomorrow for you all. Also be on the lookout from the gamestop website as well. Your stick will not ever get to you through vgc im sorry. I tried to speak to the guys in customer service. You have to consider also…the employess at vgc are getting there orders before any of us thats a gurantee. Along with friends, in store pick up ect. This is a small company that wasnt prepared and is now lying. It dosent take 3 weeks to receive to a order. Its not madcatz fault trust me. Ive explained in great detail as to why. I caught vgc in a few lies today. Again cancel your order and i will contact madcatz and talk to them tomorrow.

I never knew they received 50 sticks according to customer service they have yet to receive any from madcatz. To prove this old skool fool wrote me this on youtube.

That’s a good question. Sorry if those guys couldn’t give you a straight answer but the truth is that we don’t know. Madcatz promised us inventory this week and was supposed to ship on the 7th. It really doesn’t have much to do with us as Madcatz is behind all of this.
The ETA was set at the 7th because that is what we were told from them and that’s all we can really go by. Alot of people are in your shoes and don’t like that information but the honest truth is neither do we. So the customer service guys are just telling you what they told us, (that they were shipping them to us on the 7th)…the date was moved back a week to compensate for their delay. (As posted on VGC)
Once we receive our allocation they will ship them out as they were ordered. All I have seen around these parts are a few regular sticks and pads. (The pads suck by the way!). All we have to do now is be patient.
I mean in all honesty I don’t even have one yet! (lol)…and I review stuff!
We did tell everyone that we would notify them once we received and ship them so rest assured that if you preordered you will get one, but we would be lying to you if I gave you an exact date (especially since we’re dealing with madcatz. Basically that’s the reason I have been playing on a Hori!)
I know the CS department has been very busy answering this 1 question that everyone has, so they have been backed up and have to put people on hold though I don’t think they intentionally hung up on you.
Hopefully I have answered your question the best I can.

Old Skool Fool is an idiot. Go back in this thread a few pages and read his ridiculous rant when VGC failed the first time. He works for them dude and he’ll lie with the rest of them. There’s no excuse for them to have failed this badly when plenty other of reailers have had AT LEAST 1 TE stick trickle in. They’re selling them to employes or buddies if they even got any to begin with. After they thrashed Madcatz the first time Markman got pissed and checked with MadCatz sales dept and verified that VGC NEVER WAS PROMISED ANY ALLOCATION IN THE FIRST PLACE. Even though he posted this info it was later removed but you can get the gist by just reading this thread. Get your money back, file complaints I listed in the original post and tell everyone you know about how terrible this company is:annoy:

I’ve been calling every day this week. I always get that douchebag with the NY accent, and he just says “I don’t know, they should be going out this week sometime, that’s all I know”.
If there’s no updates by Friday, they can consider my order cancelled.
I canceled my order with vgc today! The person I spoke with sounded eager to cancel my order for me. He didnt even try to charge for restocking. Im guessing thats another order they can put on ebay. Horrible website! It blows my mind that mad catz actually caused all this hype and drama over a joystick. Im probably not gonna buy one of these joysticks at all because of all the bullshit involved with them. Madcatz can kiss my ass!!:tdown:
Im sorry for all of you. I had a pre-order with these guys and while waiting I ordered a custom case, and all the parts to make my own custom controller which has been assembled and I’ve been using it for a month and still I had an order with VGC for a te stick which has gone unfullfilled. This is with the backorder going on at lizardlick.

Others and myself have been waiting for the Madcatz SFIV TE Stick for over three months now. You claim that the sticks have been sent out by Madcatz then why are other companies who had no preorders getting shipments of brand new sticks while you guys are still waiting. Your last notification was from February 17, 2009 why is that? As a customer I think you should keep me and countless others inormed of the situation instead of keeping us in the dark.It also should not take so long for the shipment to reach you. It is almost as if you are not going to receive any sticks. I’m sure that I have beem one of your more patient customers in this debacle so I suggest that you provide us with any information regarding these sticks, their arrival, Madcatz, and this Company on at least a weekly basis, and provide some sort of compensation to boost customer morale, because I’m sure it is at an all time low.
