Yeah but it’s hard to beat really random people when you don’t know the match up well. That guy was just throwing things out and I just wasn’t reacting properly. I also got a little twitchy at the end and didn’t do things i’m normally able to do with ease (like block those neck breaker slides or the command overhead). It’s all good though, just need more experience.

Yeah, all that stuff is why I want to play sf. Then when I try I get bored in minutes. Working again this Friday. As soon as there is a ballot I vote to have a session or two a month on Thursday.

Euro, what the hell were you doing on Friday? I was like Euro hasn’t adapted to me yet. The problem is, you’re used to getting away with things that people allow you to do when you play online. The thing is, you were getting away with those things at first, but eventually I downloaded you and had that shit on lock. What you need to do is, test your opponent first and if they aren’t punishing you, then keep on doing it. If they start punishing you, you’re going to have to change your style. Go watch Mike Ross’s videos from Devastation, he’s doing the same shit you’re doing, but when people punish him, he immediately changes his style.

You kept jumping, you were not anti-airing, you did not have the correct spacing, and you didn’t know how to block. The most important thing in this is, you allowed your frustration to ruin your gameplay. Take that anger and fucus on what you are doing wrong.

On Friday, If you and I are the only ones playing Street Fighter, then we’ll do another FT 50, if people are there, then we atleast need to do a FT 20.

Anyone have any opinions of the Hori V3 stick or the HORI Real Arcade PRO.V3 SA?

I mostly interested in the size (and obviously quality but not too worried there) of the V3. The old school SE stick is just too small. I definitely want to upgrade, but a $60 upgrade would be easier than a $160. But, if I need to spend the money, pretty sure I’m willing to.

depends on how fast you can get plexi. which is 2 weeks at best unless you order from some other place other than tek-innovations

The V3 SA is a good stick but it’ll take you some time to get use to. If you’re going to be playing marvel id recommend the TE instead cause the Hori has that start button on the right.
