Viability of a keyboard for playing on a PC?

before I tried it, I didn’t like the look of it, but jumping with your thumb is actually really intuitive. Superjumping with Ibuki feels so much more natural than it does with a stick.

Hitbox is the best once you learn it. I don’t think I can go back to using a stick (though it’s good to learn how to use a stick with too!)

Come to think of it, a keyboard or hitbox would make charge characters a lot easier, at least for me. I mean, I’m not that good with grapplers, but I’m just bad with chargers. Except guile in SFxT. I don’t seem to have an issue with him on there. SF4 just hates me, I suppose.

Right now I’m debating between getting a nice keyboard and picking up the Soul Calibur 5 fight stick for $99 (heard it’s the cheapest fight stick around that has all Sanwa parts), that I will be using for SSF4AE and KoF XIII.

Get the stick, use it for a few months. Don’t give up when learning it. If after a few months you liked it, good. If not, then you’ve at least gained some experience from it (and if you want to go to tournaments, remember that they mostly use ps3, meaning you need stick/pad). Sell it, and buy the keyboard instead. In the end, it’s up to you and what you feel you’re comfortable with.
